A raucous blend of atomic blues rock and arty garage punk--The Sideshow Tragedy sounds like Led Zeppelin would sound if they were the Velvet Underground. 2014 is shaping up to be a big year for the band: they are currently finishing up their fifth LP, recorded at Old Soul Studios in New York and produced by Kenny Siegal(Chris Whitley,Langhorne Slim, Joseph Arthur). They have been touring the South and Northeast steadily this year as well, and are gearing up for their second European tour in the Fall.

Chelsea Wheatley (known professionally as Chela) began producing music at age 12 on Logic software, and played bass guitar in punk bands throughout her teenage years. She directs her own music videos, and writes and produces most of her own songs, as well as writes for other artists. In 2014 she teamed up with Styalz Fuego to write "Closure" for Owl Eyes, the first single off her debut album "Nightswim", which reached No. 28 in the Australian Albums Chart.

In 2015 Chela was formally recognised by Spotify via their Spotlight Artists. Pulse Radio listed her as one of ten electronic crossover acts "to watch out for" in 2015, and Bit Candy described her as recording "seriously catchy, stand-out music that sets her apart from the sea of electro-pop acts that have been popping up this year".

Chela first gained international attention releasing singles "Romanticise" (featured in the trailer to Sleeping With Other People) and "Zero" on French taste-maker label Kitsuné. It was followed by the single "Plastic Gun". She has also collaborated with several music groups, including Goldroom on his summer-anthem "Fifteen", Clubfeet on their highly-rotated single "Heartbreak" and queer pop-punk cult hero Seth Bogart on his debut self-titled solo album alongside Kathleen Hanna and Tavi Gevinson.

Darren Cordeux is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Melbourne, Australia. As the creative force behind acclaimed Australian rock band Kisschasy, he is well established as one of Australia’s premier recording and performing artists. Throughout his tenure as lead singer and songwriter for Kisschasy he received two certified gold albums, two certified gold singles, has been nominated for numerous ARIA and MTV awards, and named Channel V’s ‘Oz Artist of the Year’.

At Kisschasy’s helm Darren played every major festival circuit in Australia including the Big Day Out and Splendour In The Grass, and has shared the stage with industry giants such as Muse, Arctic Monkeys, The Flaming Lips, The Dandy Warhols, The Mars Volta, Calvin Harris, Lily Allen, Tegan and Sara, Spoon, Good Charlote, Panic! At The Disco, Tame Impala, Groove Armada, MGMT, Happy Mondays, Bloc Party, Simple Plan and The Specials.

Since calling it a day with Kisschasy in late 2015, Darren has transitioned into a career penning songs for other artists. In the past 12 months alone he has collaborated with Hey Violet, Taylor Henderson, FIDLAR, Aston Merrygold (JLS), Prince Royce, Asta, KLP, Chela, Pat Lok, Jon Hume, Kav Temperly, Reigan Derry, Andy Stochansky, Georgi Kay, Masketta Fall and Taj Ralph to name a few. He has also been commissioned to write ‘toplines' (lyrics and vocal melody) for instrumentals by eminent artists such as Knife Party and The Chainsmokers. In May 2016, Darren was hand-picked to be a head writer for ‘SongHubs LA’, a week-long songwriting workshop at Capitol Studios alongside Leanne Rimes, Natasha Bedingfield, Jason Mraz and Mr. Hudson (Jay Z, Kanye West).
