UNA MACCHINA CON POCO CARBURANTE, 
L’ARRIVO DELLA PIOGGIA SERALE 
ED UNA COPPIA DI FIDANZATI
LA FRESCA INNOCENZA DEGLI ANNI ‘80

"Ocean Drive", è l'equivalente musicale di un giro in auto durante una calda notte d'estate. Un suono lento e caldo che riporta agli anni ’80 mescolato ad una ritmica che, in questa mia riproposizione bootleg, è stata sintetizzata con un “grip” elastico che offre una dinamica melodica dai toni freddi e metallici per una melodia scortata da una vibrante linea di basso e da una batteria spiccatamente pop anni ’80 rinforzata da suoni che riportano ai chip audio usati per i computer dell’epoca (vedi la serie Commodore o Amiga) ed il ritorno di un synth personalizzato che ho definito “Indigo Lace” ossia “Laccio Indaco” che apre e chiude il brano ma rimane presente  per formare un ponte fra le due strofe passando per ritornello. Non ci è voluto molto per innamorarsi di questa traccia durante le lunghe fasi di creazione e di editing. Vi auguro buon ascolto!

"Ocean Drive" is the musical equivalent of quite a ride during a hot summer night. A slow and warm sound that takes us back to the 80’s mixed by a rhythmic that was synthesized by way of an elastic sound that offers a melodic dynamic with a cold and metallic tones, a vibrant bass line and a distinctly pop 80's drums reinforced by sounds that bring us back to the audio chips used for computers of the era (Commodore or Amiga series). Finally I used a custom synth called “Indigo Lace” which opens and closes the song to form a bridge between the two verses passing by refrain. It didn’t take long time to fall in love with this track. Have a good listening!
