Following the release of his debut album last year, 2022, London-based producer On Man is back with his new remix album High Crystal due April 14th via Houndstooth.

The record features reworks of tracks from his debut LP from artists such as Mogwai, Salamanda, Katie Gately, Lotic, The Bug, Throwing Snow, Hodge & more.

On Man’s creative roots lie deep. An artist with a unique gift for sound design, he’s able to conjure perfect pop songs and then corrode them, revealing the emotional truths underneath. An electronic artist with a human touch, he’s worked in the studio for an array of other artists, as well as delivering huge cinematic soundtrack projects, all while pursuing his own solitary agenda.

On Man’s eponymous debut album was his graduation point, a record framed by grief, the loss of identity, and the process of rediscovery and came out last year via Houndstooth. The songs have now been reworked by a number of notable artists for his album High Crystal.

Get ready to turn up the volume and bust a move, because SNCD03 is about to drop! The record is the brainchild of Vancouver-based DJ and producer Garneau and SNC Records.
Garneau burst onto the scene with his debut EP "Old School" in 2018, and he's been slaying the game ever since. He's worked with some of the best in the business, including Paris Mitchell, DJ Deeon, and DJ Slugo, and now he's teaming up with SNC Records to deliver a record that's nothing short of mind- blowing. The idea for SNCD03 came about during Garneau's visit to the label in October ‘22, during a stay in Europe. The creative juices started flowing, and they quickly realized that the collaboration was a match made in musical heaven, and the result is a record that's memphis-inspired, and full of dynamic beats that'll keep you grooving all night long.

"We had an amazing time working with Garneau," said Valentin from SNC Records. "The EP is a true representation of the magic that can happen when creative minds come together, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world."

Garneau – Saturn (SNCD003) [PREMIERE]

The Fujita scale is used for rating raving intensity in clubs and based primarily on the damage DJs inflict on dancefloors. Though each damage level can be associated with bpm, the Fujita scale is effectively used to describe the intensity of the breaks combined with the amount of gun fingerz that is produced from the crowd. The categories in order of increasing intensity vary from:
 
0 – Light damage: ravers are mildly aware of your existence but are largely disinterested and looking forward to hearing the next DJ.
5 – Incredible damage: Ravers are consumed by the bass, swept away in the moment, the ground and ceiling is dripping in sweat, and the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire.

Fujita Pinnacle was given his DJ name when one dusty evening at a Štrom event in Slovenia, with his mash of old skool rave breaks, the crowd grew into such a frenzy that a twenty-league tall, four-league wide stationary vortex appeared rotating counter-clockwise around the dancefloor. Currently spiralling towards Berlin, witness the danger as he brings the bass vortex to the Mega Buff Mansion

Ethereal Skies, a Dublin based party and platform dedicated to avant-garde electronic music, debuts their first label release with Aerga Vol 01. Aerga, aka "the air or the ether" (as Gaeilge) comes in the form of a jam packed VA compilation featuring twenty one up and coming and also established artists from the emerald isle and afar presenting avant-garde and genre bending club music which knows no bounds. A project planned and developed to traverse the soundscape of alternative club sounds through local Irish artists and friends, the vision of what the Ethereal Skies platform seeks to present to the world musically comes to life. Aerga is a sonic journey that defies genre boundaries, contrasts the new skool with the oldskool and presents the dysfunctional possibilities of electronic music. Aerga is a spectrum of sounds from ambient dreamscapes, to avant-trance, to breakcore, to experimental pop, to donk, to gabber, to neo-grime, to prog, hard groove and more.
