Among my unfinished tracks, I recently came across this one – and today I finally completed it. The original idea was inspired by Empire of the Sun – We Are The People, but to avoid legal complications I slightly rewrote the lyrics. The track is mainly a blend of Progressive House and Melodic Techno, with a touch of Synthwave for extra flavor.
To make the sound truly unique, I also added some special instruments: violin, bagpipe, duduk, handpan, ship horn, and santur. The bridge section features a slower, atmospheric transition (breakdown, slowdown, echo), while the Male + Female Vocal Blend layers and harmonizes both male and female vocals, giving the song a distinctive feel.
I tried to add something special to every part, but without overwhelming the listener. The overall goal was to create a track that is catchy, energetic, and emotional – something anyone can enjoy, not just fans of the genre.
