Born Keron Williams, ELEMENTS arrived in Canada at the age of 9 straight from Banks District, Clarendon. Inspired by artists like Buju Banton, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Barrington Levy, Garnett Silk and Sanchez, Elements began a career in music in the early 90’s with a determination to succeed. Now ready to emerge from the underground dancehall scene in Canada after years of domination and continued popularity. Having club and dancehall hit one after the other it is about time this artist becomes recognized as one of Canada’s best kept secret. Composer, Artist, Entertainer, Engineer and Producer are all titles he wears. Working with artist in his studio has strengthened his abilities to produce good music. Collaborating with and producing many artists in Toronto and Jamaica ELEMENTS has definitely got the experience that it takes to play his role in the industry. “Power to Fight” featuring ELEMENTS and LUCIANO received International recognition with airplay on major radio stations worldwide. With great success of the Focus rhythm a decision has been made by Street Digital for a re-release in the late fall with a number of artists on the compilation. It will include another hit track from ELEMENTS called “For What I Have” where thanks are being given to God for all that he has given him. Growing up with a Christian background ELEMENTS has always put God first in everything he does. ELEMENTS will always have his heart and soul passionate about music for this is what he was placed here to do.

The Real Lil Dee is a revolutionary rapper and hip hop entrepreneur.

Truly a product of his environment, Lil Dee the son of a bank robber/drug dealer grew up visiting his father in prison. As the cliché goes the apple does not fall far from the tree. 

During his early adulthood Lil Dee would find himself engulfed in a life of crime and at war with a system determined to snatch away his freedom. On the run, he would often find himself in foreign countries exposed to multicultural societies and philosophies which heavily influenced him as an individual.

In an effort to change his life, not wanting to follow his father’s footsteps, Lil Dee began to immerse himself into the music business. After several projects on major and independent labels he set out on his own and Rap Monster was born.

Nowadays, Lil Dee aka Rap Monster can be found promoting and marketing underground hip hop artists via rapmonster.com He is always educating the masses about systematic racism, false religion and oppression through social media outlets such as twitter, where he has well over a quarter of a million followers. His music is a reflection of what he observes as a spectator as well as being a participant in life.

Lil Dee/Rap Monster aims to become a major outlet providing unsigned artists with the necessary resources and tools to succeed on an independent level. With 341 active rappers on the roster and growing, ranked top 5 on Google for "underground rap music", and several million youtube views to boot, I'd say that was a damn good start.

Few artists have created a body of work as rich and varied as STAYGOLD. The producer duo, consisting of Carli Löf and Måns Glaeser, burst onto the scene in 2010 with their infectious and very danceable blend of pop, electro, funk, disco and hip-hop. They have a huge hit on their hands with ‘Wallpaper’, but they also write and produce tracks for many other artists such as Robyn, Mapei and US rapper Spank Rock.

Carli and Måns met while still in high school in a remote part of Sweden, with its vast, unspoiled nature and mysterious dark woods – which fed their imagination. They discovered they both loved music and started writing and producing together. Naming themselves Savage Skulls, they made remixes for artists like Moby and Miike Snow.

But the two Swedes, who are based in Stockholm, got their huge breakthrough as STAYGOLD, performing the song ‘Backseat’ at the Swedish P3 Gold Awards in 2010. Their spectacular tour de force of sex and music, with Robyn on vocals and guest performances by Spank Rock and Damian Adore, attracted massive attention from the media and the blog community. In the same year, they released their EP ‘Staygold’ on Dutch label Magnetron Music, after which they started work on their first studio album: ‘Rain On Our Parade’. In the fall of 2012, the first single of that album was released. ‘Wallpaper’ featured Swedish dj/producer Style Of Eye a.k.a. Linus Eklöw and singer Pow on vocals. The song, with its ingenious production and irresistible melody, was an instant favourite and airplay hit on Dutch radio, and scored top 3 rankings on iTunes and Spotify, as well as a top 3 spot on the Dutch singles charts.

‘Rain On Our Parade’, a fun and funky electropop adventure full of seductive sounds and with a firm nod to the eighties, was released in November. The album features collaborations from The Lady Tigra, Lady Chann, Sylvia Gordon and Faberyayo.

With each release, STAYGOLD have shown remarkable stylistic growth and musical diversity, constantly experimenting with different sounds, textures, and genres. Occasionally, their music can be maddeningly inconsistent because of this eclecticism, but their experiments frequently succeed; no other contemporary artist can blend so many diverse styles into a cohesive whole.

According to the ‘Urban Dictionary’, stay gold means “being true to yourself, innocent and uncorrupted”, which could very well be a reference to growing up amidst those vast Swedish forrests. But Måns and Carli might also have come up with the name after seeing a tattoo on the upper legs of an attractive young lady, on which the four old lassies of the Golden Girls where depicted, with the words “Stay” on one and “Gold” on the other leg. Now who wouldn’t be inspired by such beauty?

Welcome to the music & ministry of the Doug Hood Band.  Currently, we are in the studio working on a new record to be released this sumer/fall.  The band walks along a simple faith building journey.  As God opens doors, we want to be found faithful to walk through those doors, those opportunities He presents us with, those which are right for us.

We know this to be true:  Our vision is orchestrated by God.  By our own strength, nothing will make it succeed.  However, with the Lord’s hand upon it - nothing can stop it.
