Chumani Ngqumshe (born October 6, 1992) is a rapper, songwriter and graphic designer from Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. He became interested in music and writing rhymes after watching 8 Mile. ChewMoney gained recognition as a rapper following his move to Pretoria where he joined a creative collective called Aphex in 2015. In 2018, Chew made a move to Strand where he is part of a collective called N.M.E. (New Movement Entertainment).

ChewMoney released his debut mixtape, Rest.Art - The Genesis, in 2015. His next mixtape, Nirvana (2016). In 2018, he released this third mixtape, Call It What You Want Coz It's Yours, where he moves to more conscious themes. His fourth mixtape, Rest.Art 2, was also released in 2018. Chew's fifth mixtape, Rebellion (2021), touches on social issues such as drug abuse, unemployment and gang violence in South Africa. His single, Money (2021), is a bilateral aspirational song produced by Aidan Dawg and Garth Jung. ChewMoney is currently working on more music.

Tshego was born on the 21st of May 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in the USA by chance as his parents were studying abroad their native continent of Africa, Tshego would frequent South Africa from the age of 4 until he would eventually settle in Mafikeng, South Africa in 2002. He may have been nested in America, but his wings of talent were polished in Mafikeng.

2014 sees the release of Tshego’s debut LP “Since 1990”, a studio quality project that will be released digitally for free. “Since 1990” represents what Tshego feels he has owed the art of music, lovers of music, and himself. Previously composing and releasing under the name “Shag, The Gorilla”, Tshego decided it was time to turn a leaf for the release of his first solo project and drop the high school nickname from his act. Opting instead to use a shortened version of his birth name.

Tshego has been a part of numerous projects in the past, including having enjoyed radio play early on in his career. Several writing/production and feature credits on Sotho Mafia’s “The Prelude” mixtape. A feature on Sun G’s (HashOne) “The Right Way” along side rapper AKA. Production and feature credits on HashOne’s “M4TLT: Mahala 4 The Last Time” mixtape, and currently busy with the album. Production credits on Moneoa’s debut album “Coming From Going To”. Writing/production credits on retailing library music compilations currently being used internationally and more popularly, on South African television network Etv. More recently, a feature on Cassper Nyovest’s debut album “Tsholofelo”.
