* You're what the Underground needs right now... E-even if it's also exactly... Exactly what we didn't need...
* But it's all gonna be okay, alright?

* And scared of you, but you're... You're scared of me too, so that's about right. Mutually Assured Destruction and all that, haha...

Furtherfell is an AU, split into several branches, portraying the various hypothetical neutral endings of the 'canon' Underfell. In this instance, 'canon' refers to the version on Tumblr, created by the infinitely talented Fella. They don't actually consider it canon, but for Furtherfell it most certainly is. It is inspired by the concept of Aftergore, though only in concept and not in execution. Our story follows a human by the name of Hare, entering a world they do not understand, that has been forever changed by the actions of someone they've never even met.
We won't be 100% accurate to Underfell; some elements may be changed, either due to a lack of information or just due to us wanting something to differ.

"Furtherfell - Rethroned" follows on from an incomplete pacifist ending. Toriel comes out of hiding, and establishes herself as “Mother” of the underground, making swift changes to how things work. She maintains a strict rule, attempting to prevent another reign of tyranny. Humans are to be treated with kindness, and to be delivered to the Queen.

Flowey has taken up the role of the caretaker of the Ruins, though a certain scientific lizard has made this a nightmare. Despite this hardship, and being beaten down by the world, he decides to befriend Hare and guide them through the mad scientist's lair... But, can he really help another human after what the last one did?
