Growing up in Jackson, HipHop/Rap, R&B, and Gospel represented major influences in his life. The truth in the lyrics and the hard painful times are something C1tiB0rn is no stranger to. Growing up in a single parent home taught him the value of Family. "Yeah, I put a little bit of the other side in some of my lyrics, but I’m steering towards the truth in everything I do. It's real and it's felt whether you've physically done it, seen it, or been halfway around the world and heard about it. It’s not fake if you're true to who you are.”

Music, especially hip-hop/rap, has always been etched in C1tiB0rn’s being. However, it wasn't until he wondered into a ‘Studio Bar’ in Japan and recorded his first studio session that he began his transformation into one of the more profound hip-hop/rap artists of today. Bringing a much needed revitalization to the art, C1tiB0rn is destined to be a unique and vital player.
