With a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, you find yourself emerging early mornings from the studio. You've been laying tracks for CD’s by artists, Kiss, Tom Jones and Vinnie Vincent among others. For Keli there’s no escaping it. He is deep to the core, singing, playing guitar, bass, percussion and producing.....
Influences ranging from the Beatles, Rush, Electric Light Orchestra, Bee Gees and Todd Rundgren to Smashing Pumpkins and Earth Wind & Fire, across the spectrum to Cheap Trick, Outkast, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson and Celine Dion. 
Born in Manhattan, Keli first hit Los Angeles as a preteen. As he had done in NYC, he garnered auditions and roles in film, commercials and television. 
“As a kid, I was unsure of what I wanted to do, act or play music. All I knew was that no matter what, it would involve performing on stage. When time allowed, I made it out to the night clubs and concert halls. The first band I saw was Kiss, then Motley Crue, I just flipped. I knew this was the career I wanted”.
At 18 he cut his teeth alongside such artists as Guns N Roses, Poison and L.A. Guns. Being a multiple instrumentalist didn’t hurt either. Numerous city performances, featured guitarist with legendary country artist ‘David Allen Coe’ in Hawaii, sharing the stage with heavy metal icon ‘Lemmy Kilmister’ and ‘Motorhead’, touring some Asian countries, all have culminated to enable him in the development of a unique sound in his recordings and live performances.
Under the guidance of award winning songwriter - producer Howard Rice, Keli co-produced his first CD. He discovered that being on the producing end was equally as rewarding and just as much fun. Keli continues to push the envelope with his cutting edge solo performances.

"Talented dude, interesting music…!" tweeted then-Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, upon hearing self-titled debut album of RAUSCH. Little did he know the road traveled to get just that far...

After devoting the better part of his early years to the piano, namesake frontman Doug Rausch earned his Ithaca College music degree & plunged straight into self-imposed exile. Disillusioned by how mainstream music had all but completely plateaued by the early 2000’s – culminating in an eye-opening stint at Sony Music Studios - he found himself in a decade-long campaign chasing a long-held musical vision of his own. Aside from select live engagements - including an invitation from Dream Theater's Jordan Rudess to perform at the first KEYFEST - all else was sacrificed. 

In late 2009, the adventurous-yet-song-driven debut album (RAUSCH) - mixed by engineer-extraordinaire Rich Mouser (Chris Cornell, Neal Morse/Spock's Beard) - was finally released. Leadoff single "No Fair" hit the top 10 on New Music Weekly’s small-market radio charts, & the haunting "Ode to Pain" earned an honorable-mention nod from the 2010 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory (The Roots, Halestorm) "discovered" the band, opening yet another door…

Applauding their ambition, Ivory’s assertion that "‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ wasn’t until Queen’s fourth album" was as much a caution as it was a compliment. Via subsequent collaboration with Ivory, RAUSCH gained a hard-fought rite of passage, learning to flex a “commercial” muscle that would prove not mutually exclusive from the artistic one. In pursuit of uniting the best of both worlds, Doug briefly stepped away from the piano completely; first Ivory-produced track "Good Day" instead came through his guitar. To hold fans over, it was released as a standalone single in 2014 (with accompanying video directed by musical contemporaries in NYC's Jolly), and with that the band bought some much-needed time to put the final touches on some stubborn 10-minute “epics” that would ultimately round out the next full album. 

It was more than musical perfectionism alone, however, that contributed to yet another "prolonged period of monogamy between music & creator." From as early as 2012, having barely broken ground on the debut's follow-up (and still hopeful to avoid "[GN'R's] Chinese Democracy Syndrome" twice in a row), RAUSCH’s battles against the darkest side of Murphy's Law were no laughing matter. Surgeries were required; relationships were sacrificed; and, in real life Spinal Tap fashion, musicians mysteriously vanished. When the band finally pulled its collective head back above water - aided in no small way by newcomer Chris Ruffini on drums – they had time-traveled all the way to the doorstep of 2018.

At long last, RAUSCH releases second full-length album BOOK II. Heavy-hitting contributions come from the likes of Mark Zonder (Fates Warning), Ryo Okumoto (Spock's Beard), and second Shadow Gallery mainstay, guitarist Brendt Allman. Picking up where the debut left off, it remains painfully vulnerable & autobiographical of the band's trials & tribulations along the way. Things are "even more deep and dark" this time, observes the returning Rich Mouser who (along with Bumblefoot) applauds the "Queen-on-steroids" diversity running throughout. Lead-off single "Greener Grass" is adventurous and catchy; "Irked" at times flirts with jazz; "The End" is a nearly 10-minute atmospheric musical tapestry picking right up where Pink Floyd left off; the head-splitting "Speechless" shows the band clashing with Metallica-sized demons; and joining "Good Day" is 2nd Ivory-produced track "Swansong" which, by notable contrast, offers a glimpse of something completely unexplored up until now: optimism.

 Currently Steve enjoys different types of music. "I really love Prog-rock, and the great style and complexity of there music. I also still love to listen to and play hard rock"
 As of now Steve is listening to Avenged Sevenfold, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Rush, Guns N Roses, Widow's Walk, Steve Vai. even artists such as Van Halen, Deep Purple, and Tool.
 
Steve has not preformed live in many years. He has settled down and is raising a family now, but he still very much enjoys playing and recording.

Biography
Originally from Long Island comes half comedian/half musician Jay Tea aka JT Turret. A well known face in the US punk scene as a member of the bands SPROUT and THE ARROGANT SONS OF BITCHES (A.S.O.B.). After the 2004 break-up of A.S.O.B. most of his band mates went on to form Bomb The Music Industry, but he struck out on his own to play one-man shows.

As a solo artist Jay Tea self-released the CD "Threw Away Your demo" in 2005. Honoring the title track, the CD was actually packaged in other artist's discarded demo CD cases that he accumulated during his time as a Talent Buyer, Radio DJ, and Major Label Intern.This was followed by a full-length genre-bending album of Ani DiFranco covers entitled "Loaded Cannon", released for free online in 2007. A CD called "Demo(n)", including 20 songs with Jay Tea playing every instrument, was sold on tour in 2008-09.

Jay Tea brought his act on the road as the ONLY solo artist on every date of the 10 week long VANS WARPED TOUR 2006, playing twice daily as a featured performer in DR.MADD VIBES MEDICINE CABINET. While on Warped he would often collaborate with the legendary Angelo Moore of Fishbone. He has also toured North America many other times as a band member, tour manager, and solo artist.

Jay Tea's solo shows include crowd participation, stand-up, impressions, choreographed dance and rap songs performed over thumping back-up tracks, and his own brand of edgy acoustic musical comedy. He will play any request for any song ever written (even if he hasn't heard it). His overly energetic stage show is nicely complimented by a 4 octave vocal range and an overwhelming amount of self-confidence. It is far from the typical singer-song writer show. FB Message J.T. I caught Jay Tea in Dr. Madd Vibes' Medicine Tent at the Warped Tour this summer, where he was performing as "the only band on Warped Tour that's not a band!" It was a really entertaining set, blending acoustic songs, stand-up comedy and general goofiness. I'm not often a fan of the jokester with the acoustic guitar type of musician, but Jay Tea isn't really typical of that, mainly due to his punk background. As a rule, I think the world needs fewer acoustic singer/songwriter/comedians in general, but it also needs many more punk ones.

SMALL KIDS BIG GUNS album review: A hard rock ensemble disguised as ska-punks, Long Island, NY-based quartet Sprout excels on Small Kids Big Guns via infectious, hook-laden pop songs and spirited performances evocative of Green Day, the Goo Goo Dolls, Blink 182, and the Living End. Kings of the Sun (also abbreviated K.O.T.S.) is an Australian hard rock band formed by Gold Coast’s native Clifford Hoad in Sydney in 1983.[1] After 8 albums, couple of hiatuses and lineup changes, the band is still active and has recently recorded 9th studio album. 
The Young Lions (1983-1985)
Initially called The Young Lions, the band was formed in Sydney in 1983 by drummer Clifford Hoad who recruited seasoned guitarist Bob Spencer (Finch, Skyhooks), whom he had met before in Brisbane in late 1981 during the making of his Drouyn drum kit. Cliff then sent for his younger brother Jeffrey, who took lead vocals & guitar duties and the original lineup was completed by bass player Marlon Holden.[2] They scored support slots for The Angels and INXS the same year.[1]
The band’s then image comprised 50’s American big band style outfits. During the first half of 80’s, lineup has changed several times. Bob Spencer left the band around late 1983 but later on (1984-1985) rejoined along with bass player John McKinnon, who replaced Marlon Holden. After Bob Spencer left the 2nd time, lead guitarist Tommy Poulter stepped in for him in 1985. The Young Lions did 2 Australian tours, intermittently supporting such established acts as INXS, Rose Tattoo, The Church, Kevin Borich, Sherbet, Dragon, The Angels, Eurogliders, The Swingers, Hoodoo Gurus, The Saints etc.
Kings of the Sun (1986-1998)
In mid-80’s, Cliff Hoad renamed his band Kings of the Sun after seeing the movie of the same name starring Yul Brynner on daytime television in Sydney's Tamarama, where the band resided.
First single & contract with RCA
Another lineup changes happened in the first half of 1986 when the KOTS were signed to Mushroom label and recorded their first single. Tommy Poulter left and John McKinnon was replaced by Anthony Ragg. During April and May 1986 several Hoad Bros. compositions were recorded in the studio by Hoad-Hoad-Ragg lineup (with Jeff recording both lead & rhythm guitar tracks in addition to lead vocals, what later become tradition). Bottom of My Heart was chosen as a single and subsequently released with B-side Bad Love (both songs were later re-recorded for the debut album).[3] The rest of the songs from these recording sessions remain unreleased.
Accompanying videoclip was shot starring Hoads’ younger sister Belinda and new acquisition on lead guitar Ron Thiessen (Uncanny X-Men). Also Cliff is playing his custom-made square drum kit built by Bill Buick and himself, especially for the clip. In Cliff’s own words: “They look sensational but sounded like wet cardboard. They met ill fate when they tore a hole in the hood lining of my beloved Valiant. Days later, I smashed them with an axe. Wish I still had ‘em!”. The little known fact is that actually there were two videoclips filmed. The original one featured Tommy Poulter on lead guitar and was shot in complete darkness as opposed to the second one, although the concept is the same. Original clip stays in the vaults.
Single enjoyed chart success (made it to National Australian Top 20[1]) and KOTS even appeared on the Countdown (popular weekly Australian music television show in the 70’s and the 80’s). Yet, the band wasn’t offered the full album recording.
One show left at the Sydney Cove Tavern in late 1986, before the band were to disband. KOTS got signed that night to RCA Records by Simon Lowe, A&R head of this New York’s label, who came to Australia for talent seeking visit.[1] So in 1987 the Hoad brothers along with Anthony Ragg (Ron Thiessen left the band before it got signed) arrived in New York to start the work on their first LP.
Band got under the wings of Mark Eichner, who was band’s A&R representative with RCA for first 3 albums, and manager Freddy De Mann of De Mann Entertainment, who also managed high-profile artists Michael Jackson and Madonna among others.
Kings of the Sun album
The self-titled debut album Kings of the Sun released in October 1988 was produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Ace Frehley, Rolling Stones etc.), who offered himself to the band after listening to their demo tape. Recordings took place in upstate NY in two studios. First half of the recording was done at BearTracks Recording Studio in Suffern and the rest at Bearsville Studios in Bearsville, just west of Woodstock. Album was mixed by Dave Thoener at The Record Plant, NYC. Glenn Morris subsequently joined the band to play lead guitar.
Single Serpentine placed on the 19th position of the U.S. music charts[4] (in Australia it made it to position 48[5]). Second single Black Leather made Billboard Hot 100 peaking at 98th position.[6] Videoclips for both singles were shot, but Black Leather was banned on MTV for being “too risqué”.
After the release of the album group toured the USA supporting Joe Satriani, followed by Europe, where they opened for KISS on their Crazy Nights Tour.[1] They also played at the Monsters of Rock 1988 in Modena, Italy. At the end of 1988 they returned to Australia to open for Guns N' Roses along with local heroes The Angels. On the 3rd date of that tour, they were infamously kicked off stage in Sydney by Axl Rose, who apparently couldn't bear Clifford Hoad’s remark in an interview for the Australian On the Street magazine about Guns owing much of their image to Rose Tattoo (Australian rock legends).[7][8]
Full Frontal Attack album
Following year, Glenn Morris left the band to join The Screaming Tribesmen.[1] He rejoined KOTS after the 2nd album was finished. Full Frontal Attack was recorded at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles and released in August 1990. Produced by William Wittman and mixed again by Dave Thoener at New York’s prominent Electric Lady Studios & Battery Studios, it contains perhaps the biggest hit of the band called Drop the Gun (30th place in the Billboard charts[4]). Videoclip features crashed Dodge Challenger and some stunt done by Jeff Hoad. Lock Me Up was released as the second single. In home Australia, Mushroom label released I Get Lonely as additional single.
Following the album release, RCA Records went through turbulent times and was taken over by BMG. KOTS lost label support and album didn’t get much promotion. Even without support, single Drop the Gun stayed 10 weeks in the charts and got some solid airplay thanks to demand of listeners.[4] Full Frontal Attack was also the last album to be released on vinyl by RCA Records.
KOTS went on tour and opened for Bruce Dickinson in the US. The Australian tour with The Screaming Jets followed in early 1991, before Morris and Ragg left the band in 1992.[1]
Resurrection album
After the band was granted a third album by BMG, Resurrection was recorded in Los Angeles again (Hoad brothers lived in Malibu Beach for couple of years) at A&M Studios and Paramount Studios. Most bass guitar tracks were recorded by Englishman Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol), additional 2 tracks were recorded by American Brad Spurr who joined the band afterwards. This time, the Hoad brothers produced themselves, except two tracks co-produced by Mark Dearnley, who also mixed the record. Album offered standard Hoad’s dose of dozen tracks, but in fact, there were recorded enough songs to make it a double album. These unreleased tracks still wait to see the light of the day. Also, during the recording of the album, Mötley Crüe invited Jeff Hoad to audition as a replacement for Vince Neil. He refused to even consider it.[9]
Album was released in May 1993 in Australia only by Mushroom Records in print run of 1000 copies (nowadays, the original pressing is regarded as collector’s item). The band subsequently returned from the States to their native Australia, where they shot videoclip to the 2nd single called Road to Nowhere (released in July). Videoclip features Cliff Hoad speeding in his Roadrunner muscle car, which a few years later had almost fatal impact on his life & career. As the 1st single was released Trapped Inside Your Heart in April of that year. Now as a trio, KOTS supported Jimmy Barnes on his Australian tour the very same year.[1][10]
Bombs Away single
After the touring, Brad Spurr went back home to the States and KOTS recruited Australian Dean Turner on bass with whom they recorded Bombs Away single in 1995. Cliff Hoad explains: “Recorded by Brett Johnson from Sea FM Radio in one night in 1995 [17/8/95]. With a classic heavy riff and a sing along anthem style lyric, denouncing the French President Chirac's decision to bomb test in the Pacific.“. The accompanying video was shot with help of Miami State High School, Gold Coast, QLD. Single was released independently in limited volume and all proceeds went to the Gold Coast branch of the Australian Surfriders Foundation.[11]
Final KOTS album
In wintersun of 1997, band went to Terry Stevens’ Studio One Sound Explosion and recorded an album called Daddy Was a Hobo Man. Cliff Hoad on recording process: “OK… the thing is with this album, we did not set out to record this album with the same intention as the first three. This album, we wanted to record with no commercial pressure what so ever, also, at the time we wanted to record as a 3 piece and live in the studio, this is what you’re hearing. The band playing live! Jeff’s singing and playing at the same time, it’s magnificent, ‘cause this is what we sounded like on stage!!! Especially when we came back from the States as a 3 piece. This is why I love the album so much. No harmonies, no over dubs, just raw singing & playing, first & second takes only...“.[12] Album remained shelved until 2011, when master tapes resurfaced and it finally get released independently.
KOTS continued touring Australia in 1997/1998. In May 1998 they opened for Sammy Hagar, now as a quartet again, featuring young Melbournian axeman Quentin Elliott on lead guitar and Chris Lewis on bass. This lineup played some new songs as Higher Power or Stagefright which has never been recorded in studio, but some live shows were bootlegged. Around this time, Cliff Hoad crashed his Roadrunner and completely wrote it off. After the touring, band went on hiatus.
On 13th April, 2001 KOTS reunited for a one-off gig, when they opened for KISS at Carrara Stadium in their hometown of Gold Coast, Queensland. Craig Pesco joined the Hoad-Hoad-Elliott lineup on bass. This was the last Kings of the Sun gig.
The Rich & Famous (2001-2009)
Not long after, brothers Clifford and Jeffrey Hoad returned to the scene under moniker The Rich & Famous – which allowed them to further explore their abilities as songwriters. Their self-titled & self-produced debut album was recorded at Stardust Studios and 3 Horn Studios in the (Australian) summer of 2002 and the winter of 2003. Cliff Hoad: “In the summer of 2002, Jeff and I went into the studio, hell bent on making a definitive classic pop rock album. This was an experimental journey, to places we had never ventured before musically. Far removed from the confines of our heavy rock legacy, with instrument swaps, Jeff playing keyboards and guitar, and me playing sax. You can hear the artistic freedom and self-discovery, meshed into this wonderful landscape of Hoad brothers song writing.“.[13] Album was released independently in 2004. Dean Turner rejoined the band on bass and toured with R&F locally.
While first R&F album was experimental move by the Hoad Bros., second album Like a Superstar meant their return to heavy rock roots. It’s aggressive, raw & loud with punk edge. Recorded at Terry Stephens’ Sound Explosion studio and released independently in 2006. Album cover inspired by famous American picture called Nighthawks was painted by Dean Turner, who is not only a bass player, but also talented artist.
The last Rich & Famous record called Stand Back… Prepare to be Amazed!!! was released the following year (2007). Recorded again by Hoad-Hoad-Turner lineup at Lost Valley Recording Studios, it features almost 24 min long drum solo by Cliff Hoad and his lead vocal on I Wanna Rock track. Sound wise it picks up where previous album left off.
The band broke up again in 2009.
Clifford Hoad's Kings of the Sun (2010-present)
In 2010 Clifford Hoad began with the composition of songs for the new album and formation of a new Kings of the Sun lineup – this time without his younger brother Jeffrey, who decided to leave behind his music career.[14][15]
2011 saw release of the last Rich & Famous material – album called Airborn Love Spirits. It includes 3 tracks recorded in 2001 (2 previously unreleased) plus complete Resurrection album, which has been long out of print.
In March 2013, new KOTS lineup entered Govinda Doyle’s private studio to record Cliff Hoad’s latest compositions. Quentin Elliott returned to play lead guitar and Dave Talon (Rollerball) joined on rhythm guitar. Drummer Cliff Hoad also took charge of singing, as he sang backing vocals on all previous albums and lead vocals on 2 tracks (shared with Jeff on Shot Me an Arrow & lead on I Wanna Rock). Bass tracks were recorded by Govinda Doyle who also engineered and produced the album with co-production by Clifford Hoad. Mixing was done by Govinda & Clifford.
New album entitled Rock Til Ya Die released in 2013 and is return to classic Australian rock sound.

Starlight Cleaning Co. is a Mojave Desert band fronted by Rachel Dean and Tim Paul Gray. Their
paths were interwoven for nearly a decade before formally meeting in May of 2015, when they
played a show together at Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA. Rachel had previously played
under her own name, having released an album titled Indian Summer, produced by Rob Campanella
(Brian Jonestown Massacre) and the late, great Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Ryan
Adams). Rachel also fronted two bands prior – War Children and The Hot Fudge Sunday (Pappy
and Harriet’s Sunday house band). Tim fronted Orange County based bands The Delusions and
Charles Mansion. As a duo, Rachel and Tim have toured with Tommy Stinson (The Replacements,
Bash And Pop, Guns ‘n’ Roses) and on their own, throughout the country.
Two years ago, Rachel and Tim did something they had wanted to do for a while – they turned their
solo act into a full band, Starlight Cleaning Co. Featuring Tim's timeless songwriting and Rachel's
versatile vocals, Starlight Cleaning Co. is an operation that somehow sounds like they could have
thrived in both the 1970s/1980s and the 2010s/2020s. Drawing inspiration from Elvis Costello,
Chrissie Hynde, Alex Chilton and Dwight Twilley as well as girl groups from the 1960s, and late
1970s/early 1980s punk and power pop; Starlight Cleaning Co.'s male/female fronted dynamic is
pure, soulful, and beautifully focused.
Somewhat recently, Starlight Cleaning Co. brought a crew out to the High Desert to hole up for a
week and record an album. The songs were tracked at Rachel and Tim’s home studio, Starlight
Sound, where Vetiver recorded their 2019 record Up On High. Their recording crew comprised the
LA/SF blue-eyed-soul and soft rock troubadour, Bart Davenport (The Bedazzled, The Loved Ones,
The Kinetics) and LA's "indie king" Joel Jerome (Dios, Cherry Glazerr, La Sera). Bart, acting as
producer and Joel as engineer, worked with Starlight Cleaning Co. to create a powerful and sincere
record. There are even some special guitar solos from their recently departed friend and mentor,
Neal Casal.
After mixing and mastering, the end result is an ageless album that swirls cosmic Americana of the
High Desert with shimmering power pop and forward-thinking indie songcraft. Starlight Cleaning
Co.’s songs are laced with barbed melodic hooks that dig deeper into your heartstrings with
repeated listens. Rachel and Tim’s voices tower over these tunes with an uncanny chemistry – she
sings in a soaring perfect pitch, belted straight from the heart and performed with a natural fervor
that could single handedly bring back the power ballad. Tim is an authentic pop crooner whose
timbre balances zeal and verve, trimmed with a touch of twang. Together in harmony, they recall the
great male-female duos of the 20th century, such as Buckingham-Nicks, Sonny & Cher, Gram and
Emmylou, John Doe & Exene. Their record will be out in 2021.

A sneak peak into one of the most psychedelic rock bands in the Tri-State - PFOP (Featuring Ryan Kirby (lead vocalist/bass), Chris Hamilton (guitar), and Logan Boarman (drums) 
Pocket Full of Posies is in a word an anomaly - growing up in a one-sheriff town, without even the likes of a streetlight; these rural kids grew up with music flowing through their veins, ageless talent passed down from family, picking up instruments and playing at the ripe ole’ age of 10 years old. Just one listen to "Stairway to Heaven" and Ryan was "fucking sold on Rock n Roll", these talented musicians grew up with the rich influences of Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tool, Chevelle, Rush, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the eclectic sound of 90s rock  that has left a boundary-breaking legacy which remains still today. 
Ryan says, “Starting out with the drums like so many young boys do, it wasn’t until my grandmother encouraged me to play bass, and from that point on--I was a bass player.” Ryan and Logan have been playing together their whole lives, ever since Logan could ride a bike, he has had a drumstick in his hand. 
These guys joined forces to create something special and with one goal in mind, “to WIN the 2019 Battle of the Bands”, hours and hours of practice together in Ryan’s garage and the guys claimed victory in the local contest. Still in shock over opening up for Tantric, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Trapt, & Saving Abel in Owensboro, KY --- winning top 2 bands in the 2019 97X Battle of Bands Competition,  they decided from there on out, they were ready to take PFOP to another level. 
Jordan Roos with 97X Owensboro’s Best Rock describes PFOP as, “Very bass driven and Chris’ guitar skills are out of this world.. Chris absolutely shredded it at the Battle of the Bands last Fall, playing a Jason Hook (5 Finger Death Punch) guitar and someone who draws influence from Slash, Steve Vai, all the greats. PFOP are a great showcase of the local talent that we have right here in Owensboro and the surrounding areas.” 
Fresh out of the studio, the band has just completed their highly anticipated album titled, PANDEMIC. The guys are thrilled to let their fans hear their first album, you won’t believe your ears listening to “Decision” and “Can’t Sleep” -- an unbelievable sound and lyrics to boast! Pocket Full of Posies have already begun work on their follow-up album and are ready to take the stage to play throughout the Tri-State and beyond.
