In July the Meierkord family came by to say hello to us. Henrik and I took the opportunity to play something together. Nothing demanding: a sort of 'warm up', which has become a 'session' in my small living room. We mostly used some 'loops' I had on my JamMan, improvising over them, or even more freely. The recordings are quite 'lo-fi', mainly coming from a dictaphone placed in the center of the room, but we believe they are a good testimony of our musical and human entente and of the pleasure of meeting each other in person.

The "golden" came from the sun in my eyelids, and the "eternity" from my sudden instant realization as I woke up that I had just been where it all came from and where it was all returning, the everlasting So, and so never coming or going; therefore I call it the golden eternity but you can call it anything you want. As I regained consciousness I felt so sorry I had a body and a mind suddenly realizing I didn't even have a body and a mind and nothing had ever happened and everything is alright forever and forever and forever, O thank you thank you thank you."

Marco Lucchi & Henrik Meierkord - The Golden Eternity

For this second participation to Full Orchestra project I wanted to multiply massive delay layers after having listened a lot to Basic Channel label. 

It's also been a month full of mixing sessions as I ended mixing my brother's upcoming album and started the process for our future album with Antipodes. Through this track, I wanted to overstate drum compression & distortion with Camel Crusher.

By overusing compression & delay I tried to make noise & textures participate more in the composition following dub techno precepts in another electronic style.

An intimate frontier.  A melody lost on waking.  A memory from childhood.  A hope for forgiveness.  A season ended.  A photograph of a moment you don’t remember.  A treasured object found and lost.
