Track# 14, “Tug Of War” from “Silver Ships” the new live compilation album by Parousia.  “Tug Of War” is an instrumental piece recorded live at the F.M. Station in North Hollywood, CA (1989).  The “F.M.”, in “F.M. Station” stands for “Filthy McNasty," a rock n’ roll biker who founded the club in 1985. The F.M. Station was the premier live music venue in the San Fernando Valley and was the favorite watering hole for many of the music industry’s shiniest of stars. On any given night, you could find the members of Motley Crue, Kiss, Guns and Roses, Great White, Metallica, Motorhead, etc., followed around by local hopefuls striving for a grab at the proverbial brass ring known as a record deal. “Tug Of War” with musicians Patt Connolly (vocals/flute), Robert Lowden, (guitar/vocals), Marty Leggett (keyboards), Gerry N. Caelestis is an Atmosphere/Post-Rock duo and creates Blue Music.
Why blue? As we think and feel it is the most conceptually accurate color to our music: for many ancient cultures, blue was the color of introspection; most of all, for Buddhism the Blue Lotus represents the universe and the soul's pureness and that's why it is considered a sacred flower. We believe that a pure and bright music with its positive vibes, visually represented with this deep color, has the power to reconnect man to nature and in this idea we find the essence of our art.
