But instead I'm looking at my reflection

Brewing morning coffee in my home

Desperate for connection in a place I don't belong
Like a flower blooming in a storm of chaos

Will I shine? Will I feel better?
Follow my instinct like birds or otters, etc.?
A journey of self-discovery
I'll take a breath and put everything else at ease

In my mind palace I will sit by the waterfall, but I "mist"
Puns aside, I wish I were in a film noir
And in my surroundings, marsupial euphoria

I will walk, I will run
And I will fly over mountain tops
Letting be the anxiety and rising like a phoenix
And I vote! for a new hobby that brings out my perserverance

One day I'll find my favourite
And it will call for a celebration
