The intention of this piece: a roller coaster for your brain, using variation in arpeggio patterns as the primary musical device to evoke wheels in motion as well as the twists and turns. This piece is completely arpeggiated (no simultaneously struck notes), and the harmonies created through sustain are relatively noncommittal (lots of suspended chords to keep the listener feeling "suspended"), and lots of note spacing to break up the melody, leaving the listener to hone in on the arpeggio patterns as the focal point; the song invites the listener in with a long ascending arpeggio followed by a descending arpeggio, then a sequence of ascending arpeggios with descending root notes evokes the motion of a wheels (oscillation around a monotonic center of mass) before more complex patterns are introduced.  

Mathematical feature of this piece: one way to quantify the complexity in arpeggio patterns is to look at possible permutation patterns that appear in consecutive strings of notes.  Taking a consecutive string of distinct notes and ordering them according to pitch, one can assign a permutation.  All of the 24 permutations of size 4 are realized at least once in this song. Everyone has people they have loved who are no longer here.  We think of them and we miss them.  Have you ever dreamed about them? Had talks with them and could feel the warm from them? I have.
