The record represents the multitude of people and parties that have been a part of growing the project, as well as the parallels between how dance and electronic music since its beginnings have been central to fostering community and safe spaces to express and share in experience. It's been particularly important for us to promote these themes through our music over the last few years given the numerous issues that have affected people across the globe.

The French electronic music scene is in very healthy place. A new wave of artists has emerged
in recent years, representing a contemporary take on the house genre we know and love.
Musically shrewd with wide-reaching influences, a handful of producers are leading the charge, and one of those is Berzingue.

He made his debut on Pont Neuf Records in 2022, with the release of a debut EP
Quitter Paname, which was enthusiastically received. He returns on January 20th with a new single "One", the maiden single from his new EP due in March: Architectures. 

“I wanted to explore a more breaksy universe on One, compared to what I usually compose, whilst
keeping a certain deep house touch on the melodic and vocal. I composed it with classic house
machines, such as the 606, 808 and 909, but also with a whole melodic section that leans closer to ‘90s-esque sounds such as the SRX Dance Trax, JV1080 and Club Organ”.-Berzingue.

There's a summery euphoric feel to "One", like a festival sunset with your feet in the sand. The heady female vocals, breakbeat-esque percussion, and chuggy, low-slung bassline all dovetail in harmony, taking us through feelings of zesty ebullience throughout.
Mixing two distinct musical worlds is no mean feat, yet Berzingue manages to accomplish this with greatease on this new track.
