I love the song image!  Goes with the title and sounds very well.

I love the sound and dark feeling of this song.  I appreciate why it's quite relentless - because of the assault.  But it's a bit too much of one thing for my tastes.  I know our tastes differ though.

There are two songs about Eden this round!  Funny.

Tbh, apart from those stabs here, this doesn't feel all that brutal or assaulting to me.  Friendly fire ? :D   Sounds very nice and full, and doesn't fatigue the ears too much, which speaks volumes about your mixing skills. Very entertaining too, with nice sounds, esp. after the stabby bit.

The kind of knocks kick doesn't fit in well with the dark nature of everything else going on -- at least for me, sorry.

Each autumn, when the heather turned purple on the hills, the bagpipers came down from the highlands. At first, the village children heard only a faint drone, like the earth humming underfoot. They would freeze in their games, eyes wide, and scramble up into the oak trees to see better.

The sound grew, weaving and swelling, until it filled the valley like a storm of music—low drones rolling like thunder, sharp notes flashing like lightning. By the time the pipers emerged from the misted slopes, it was no longer a handful of men but an orchestra carried on the wind itself.

The villagers gathered in silence, listening. Year after year, the same mystery unfolded: a reminder that the mountains still breathed, and that the world above the clouds sent down its song to be heard.

This song has been sequenced Using my Synthstrom Audible Deluge groovebox for the OSC#198 challenge. Every sound has been made from init with the synth engine of this device. I then imported the stems and recorded additionnal deluge synth sounds using Bitwig. Hope you enjoy!

I have no degree in audio engineering but I learned through watching YouTube. I participate in the KVR One Synth Challenge. My first OSC was 169 which started on March 2023.

Sequential-X 2.0 is not a real person. It’s an AI construct derived from a digital backup copy of my several years younger self. He and I, despite originating from the same group of particles, are now two very different entities, though we both share the same love for music, technology and synthesizers.
