Drokz, alias ‘Opa hardcore’, heet aan de salontafel in Alblasserdam gewoon Richard Koek. 47 jaar en sinds gabber-heugenis één van de meest uitgesproken stemmen in de hardcore-scene. Zijn ruim vijfentwintigjarige carrière bracht hem van MC naar producer, van dj tot columnist. En door in de hoogtijdagen het TMF-programma TMF Hakkeeh te presenteren, zelfs tot kortstondig BN’er. ‘De gabbertijd in de jaren 90, probeer je dat eens voor te stellen. Eerst sta je blowend en zuipend in de hoek, een paar jaar later zien weet ik hoeveel mensen je als een ster. Ik snapte er helemaal niets van.’ Nee, dat kan ik me niet voorstellen. Zeker hier niet. Hij steekt nog maar een Moods sigaartje aan, neemt een hijs en zakt achterover in misschien wel de meest comfortabele bank die ik ooit heb gezien.

damaliger Infotext: "Grauhandversteinerung ist entstanden aus Langeweile, Begeisterung für Rhythm Noize und ähnliches
und war halt eine Idee, die Triebfedern des Projektwesens, also Drogen, Zerstörungswut und Geschlechtszugehörigkeits bedingte
Ablehnung ihres Umfelds (andererseits, wer kann eine nordrheinwestfälische Kleinstadt und ihre Einwohner schon akzeptieren?)
hörbar zu machen, wobei sich vielleicht im Nachhinein sagen lässt, dass vielleicht Drogen am meisten die Soundscapes
beeinflusst haben, Zerstörungswut den Rhythmus und Krach, besonders das Tempo oft und die Ablehnung sich vielleicht
gut in einigen Titeln und der Gestaltung erkennen lässt. Aber eigentlich sind noch eine Menge anderer Dinge in GHV mit ein
geflossen.

Das Projektwesen besuchte 2002 noch ein Bonzengymnasium, ging aber lieber z.B. im Mingles Club, PC69 und AJZ Bielefeld
feiern, fühlte sich aber mehr auf reinen Krach (=Noize)-parties zu Hause, hatte dabei stets Probleme wegen Äußerlichkeiten,
denn bekannterweise denkt ihr Scheißnormalos ja, eine Frau braucht ein Möse, ein so-und-so-geartetes Gesicht usw. um eine
Frau zu sein und das hatte das Projektwesen alles erst später, sah dann aber dann auch nicht mehr ein, die Leute, die ihm vorher
nicht geglaubt haben, weiblich zu sein, nun aber auf einmal schon, noch mit dem Arsch anzusehen. Grauhandversteinerung war
stets auch eine Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen Trends im musikalischen Underground und auch Kommerz, enthielt Versuche,
z.B. Elemente und Grooves aus dem Death Metal in andere Richtungen zu integrieren oder einfach Kunst bzw. Künstliches zu
karikieren.

Das Problem, einerseits durch Drogen und das Fehlen eines Lebensrhythmus, andererseits durch das von vielen (VollidiotInnen)
nicht ernst genommen werdens und sich selbst fremd seins (durch den bescheuerten Zwang, sich Heteronormativität anpassen zu sollen)
nicht exakt zwischen Authentisch und Artifiziell unterscheiden zu können, tauchte in dieser Phase ständig auf und der Zwang, sich
rechtfertigen zu müssen, war dem Projektwesen auch außerhalb seiner Musik nicht unfremd. Grauhandversteinerung wurde letztendlich
kaum verstanden, aber dennoch akzeptiert, während das Projektwesen sich mehr und mehr von seinem Umfeld verabschiedete, um neue
Wege eines nicht artifiziellen Lebens zu finden.

Um Akzeptanz zu betteln hatte es keinen Bock. So erschien es nicht selten irgendwo
in Gütersloh und Bielefeld mit einem Ghettoblaster und neu aufgenommenen GHV-Tapes, um Punks, Verdrogte und (Ex-)MitschülerInnen zu flashen, oft
mit Erfolg. Zu Punk hat GHV eine besondere Beziehung: Einerseits war das Projektwesen stets angeödet von Retro, so dass es lieber Texte
von Bands las, die ewig-gleichen-Riffs dabei aber lieber unterschlug und stattdessen was innovatives hörte, andererseits liebte es das
Projektwesen, auf Copyright zu scheißen und, auch Geldmangel bedingt, lieber gecrackte Versionen, gestohlene Bilder aus dem Netz und
Sounds aus irgendwelchen Games zu benutzen, als sich groß um Dinge außerhalb des für es wesentlichen zu kümmern.

Was hat Grauhandversteinerung nun so gemacht?

Im Sommer 2002 fing das Projektwesen mit seinem ersten FruityLoops 3.0-Crack an, elektronische Musik zu basteln. Vorher hatte es schon
Bass & Schlagzeug in Punk- und Metalbands gespielt, auf übelst komplizierte Art & Weise Loopfolgen, Hörspiele und abstrakteres auf Tapes
gebastelt und durch Verzerrungen beim Verändern merkwürdige Edits von Windowssounds erstellt (z.B. IIII).
Die ersten Sachen waren noch recht langweilig, spiegelten nur die Verachtung für laschen Standardelectro wieder, waren Karrikaturen dessen,
wobei durch mehr und mehr Vefremdungen der Sounds und (Effekt-)Hascherei bald brauchbare, aber noch unausgearbeitete Industrialsounds
herauskamen.

Da das Projektwesen sich 2002 mehr und mehr für Schranz und chemische Drogen begeisterte, folgte den anfänglichen
Industrialscapes bald rhythmusbetontes Monogebolze. Nachdem das Projektwesen im Oktober 2002 das erstes Demoalbum "Pilzejunky (Kill + Destroy II)
veröffentlicht hatte, das noch recht schwach und streckenweise sehr langweilig war, folgte am Anfang 2003 das für die Zeit und Umstände schon
ernst zu nehmende Demoalbum "Wirtschaft=Faschismus", das ordentlich auf die Fresse klang, aber auch durch permanente Übersteuerung auffiel.
Es gab Fans... Da das herumtouren mit einem Kassettenrekorder und verschenken oder gegen Grass tauschen von GHVs ziemlichen Spaß machte,
haute das Projektwesen 2003 auch das später verlorengegangene Konzeptalbum "Die Quintessenz des Urknalls" raus, das musikalisch, aber auch
auf 4 dazugehörigen Zetteln die Entwicklung vom Urknall bis zu einem letzten Seufzen der Mondgöttin (die aber weiterexistiert) beschrieb und zog mehr und
mehr feministische Standpunkte in den theoretischen Rahmen mit ein.

Dann kam 2004, der Computer ging kaputt, die Beziehungen mehr und mehr auch,
doch irgendwie brachte das Projektwesen es am Ende des Jahres doch noch zustande, aus Backupfragmenten und Bastelei das ziemlich bekiffte Album
"Pharmageddon" zu erstellen. Übrigens wurde ab Ende 2002 Usus, stets 16 Titel auf einem Album zu haben, denn irgendein Characteristicum sollte ja sein.
Durch vermehrten Konsum von chemischen Drogen und Hormonen wurde die ganze Organisation ein bisschen kompliziert, außerdem fand das Projektwesen
Gefallen daran, jede Woche neue Album aus unterschiedlichen Traxx zusammenzustellen, die Namen trugen wie "Horrortrip", "Nihilistischer Raum" und
"Meisterwerke der Gossenelektronik", so kam es am Ende doch zu keinem einzigen Liveauftritt und nur noch zu einem in größerer Anzahl herausgegebenen
Album, nämlich "FemiNewfact".

Das Projektwesen hatte immer weniger Bock auf Heterosexuelle, wenn die nicht selbst geschlechtlich falsch zugewiesen waren, schlechte
Erfahrungen und so, es gab immer mehr Stress wegen weiblich sein und Akzeptanz (nicht nur geheuchelte Toleranz) einfordern und immer weniger Hoffnung auf ein okayes Leben, aber es wurden noch ein paar
neue Traxx auf abc.com gestellt (Lesbian dragqueen, Breakwede, leer, How to fist a macho), bevor das Projektwesen GHV an den Nagel hängte, um sich
auf Mixing zu konzentrieren und ansonsten einfach nur noch böse und fertig zu sein, weil die Welt bis heute nicht checkt, das ein Mädel im weiblich untypischen Körper
ein Mädel ist und nix weiter.

Heute macht das Projektwesen heimlich "ZeroPassing", ist froh, dass hormonbedingt, keine(r) es wiedererkennt, so dass es
nicht mehr mit Körperfaschismus konfrontiert wird und greift dabei aber manchmal auf GHV-Traxx zurück.

Zwischendurch gab es Suites, die Schimpfwörtersuite mit z.B. den Traxx Hurenbock, Pissflitsche, Kackschlappen 1+2, Schweinehund, Heckenpenner,
Gesichtsfickgeburt, usw. und die Suite "feuchte Träume" mit kurzen Programmartigen Traxx unter 1 Min z.B. die chinesische Vase, Willkommen am
Heringsteich, aufgelauert, der Hallenbadhai, Speedfreak, schwarz-weiß Horrorfilm (also, es war garnicht alles feucht an den Traxx aber vieles traumatisch), naja.

Dass Grauhandversteinerung eigentlich auch ein Statement sein sollte gegen Heteronormativität, wurde meistens unter den Tisch gekehrt, z.B. verstanden
die BielefelderInnen und GütersloherInnen oft nicht die Ironie in dekonstruktivistischen Titeln und Samplespielereien, ebensowenig, dass bewusst pornographische Inhalte sogenannter
"abstrakter moderner Kunst" aufgegriffen, parodisiert und dadurch neutalisiert ins damals durchweg antisexuelle Bedeutungsuniversum des Projektwesens
transponiert wurden, dass sich durch die "oversex-te" Gegenwartskultur nur genervt und angegriffen fühlte und weder Teil von ihr sein konnte noch wollte.

Da sich durch Subversivität in kleinen und mittleren Städten aber kaum etwas erreichen lässt, musste später "ZeroPassing" her, da findet ihr den Klartext,
den ihr wahrscheinlich braucht, um zu verstehen, warum das Projektwesen weder auf euern Parties noch sonstwo mehr auftaucht und ein Leben mit gänzlich
neuen Leuten, die von dieser Vergangenheit nix wissen, angefangen hat, also gänzlich untergetaucht ist, sich bald das Leben nimmt.

GHV war bewusst Lo-Fi und experimentell, veröffentlichte manchmal unfertige Sachen oder deutete am Schluss eines Traxx an, keinen Bock mehr zu haben, wenn
eigentlich noch was kommen könnte, usw., dabei spielte sicherlich eine Überdosis Helge Schneider eine Rolle.

Grauhandversteinerung (Greyhandpetrifaction) came into beeing through boredom, enthusiasm for
RhythmNoize and similars and was so an idea, to make listenable the motivating forces of the projectcreature,
for that drugs, destructive mania and beeing wrong assigned (unaccepted as a girl born with a dick) based refusal of her environment (otherwise, who else can accept the
town Bielefeld and its inhabitants?), in which one can say afterwards that maybe mostly drugs have been influenced
the soundscapes, destructive mania rhythm and noise, especially often the tempo and refusal maybe is well
recognisable in some titles and arrangement.

But actual a lot of other things flew into GHV. In 2002 the projectcreature
still was at a bigwig-gymnasium, but prefered f.e. to make party at the Mingles-Club. Normally she felt her more home
at pure noise/noize-parties, but always had problems course of externalities, then known you fucking normalos think
that a woman needs a so-and-so-looking face and a pussy,etc. to be a woman and all of that the projectcreature just got
later, but at that time, she didn´t see, yet to even look with her ass at people that before didn´t believe she was female,
but now. Grauhandversteinerung was also always a good look at actual trends in the musical underground, also commerce,
contained attempts to f.e. integrate elements and grooves from death metal into other directions or simply to caricature art
and artificials.

In this phase often occured the problem, on the one hand through drugs and the lack of a liferhythm, on the
other hand through the not-beeing-taken-serious by many (idiots) and beeing foreign to herself (by the stupid force, to shall fit
somehow into stupid heteronormative shemes). not to can deferentiate between authentic and artificial and the force to have to justify wasn´t
unknown to the projectcreature, nor outside her music. At least, Grauhandversteinerung was hardly understood, but
nevertheless accepted, while the projectcreature was more and more saying goodbye to her environment to find new ways
of an unartificial life.

She didn´t fancy to bet for acceptance. So she appeared many times somewhere in Gütersloh and Bielefeld with
a ghettoblaster and new recorded GHV-tapes to flash Punks, drugconsumers and (ex-)mates, often with success.

GHV has a special relation to Punk: On the one hand the projectcreature was always pissed off by retro, so that she
prefered to read texts of bands, but to embezzle the always same riffs and to listen something inovative instead, on the
other hand the projectcreature loved to give a fuck about copyright and to use, also depending on a lack of money, cracked
versions, stolen pics from the net and sounds of any games than to care much about things outside the essential.

So what did Grauhandversteinerung do?
In the summer of 2002 the projectcreature started to mess around electronic music with her first Fruity-Loops 3.0-Crack.
Before it had yet played bass & drums in punk- and metalbands, messed around in a heavily complicated matter loopsequences, audioplays and more abstract things on tapes and to make strange edits of windowssounds by
distortions and changing (f.e. IIII).
The first traxx were boring, only reflecting the despise of flat standardelectro, were caricatures of it, for what more and more
defamiliarizing of sounds and cheap gimmicks with effects (drug influenced) soon resulted into needful, but yet blank
industrialsounds. Because the projectcreature was more and more enthusiatic about Schranz and chemical drugs, monotone
rhythm-clouting followed the industrialscapes.

After the projectcreature had released her first demoalbum "mushroomjunky
(Kill+destroy II)", that yet was weak and here and there boring, in the beginning of 2003 followed the demoalbum
"economy=fashism", that yet was to be taken serious for that time, sounded deeply into-your-face, but also striked by
permanent overdrive.

There were fans... Because touring with a taperecorder and giving or changing GHV-CDs for weed was
well fun, the projectcreature also dropped out the conceptalbum "the quintessence of the first crack[the one that made the
universe] in 2003, that described musically, but also in 4 sheets of texts, the evelopment from the first crack to the last
moaning of the lunar goddess (which only exists further on from that time on) and included more and more feminist aspects
into its theoretical framework.
Then came 2004, the computer broke, also more and more relationships, but somehow the projectcreature passed at the end
of the year to finish the quite stoned album "Pharmageddon", by backup-fragments and messing around.

By the way, from the end of 2002, it became usus to always have sixteen traxx at one album, one characteristicum should
exist. By higher consume of chemical drugs and hormones the whole organization became a bit complicated, besides the
projectcreature started to fancy compilate new albums of different tracks every week that had names like "horrortrip",
"nihilistic space" and "masterpieces of gutterelectronic", so finally, it didn´t come to one liveconcert and only
to one album (in 2005) that was handed out in reasonable quantity, namely "FemiNewfact".

The projectcreature lost completely interest in heterosexuals, if they weren´t wrong assigned as her or transgendered or anything else except male or female themselves because of bad experiences and so on, she got more and more into trouble because of her real and "illgalized" gender (although she knew to be and lived like any woman since she was 4) and still less hope for on okay life, but put some new traxx at abc.com (lesbian dragqueen, Breakwede, empty, how to fist a macho) before it made GHV an end
to concentrate on mixes and else just to be pissed off and finished because the world doesn´t check until today that a girl in a nontypical, misunderstood body is only a girl and nothing else.

Today the projectcreature does "Zero Passing" secretly and is happy about
no one recognizes it because of hormones, so she isn´t confronted with daily bodyfashism and other forms of normative sexism day by day anymore and sometimes falls back upon GHV-traxx.

In between there were suits, the insult-suite f.e. with "whoreram","pissbroom","shitboot 1+2","pighound","hedgebom",
"facefuckbirth", etc. and the suite "wet dreams" with short programmlike traxx each shorter than one minute, f.e.
the chinese vase, welcome to the heringpond, lied in wait, the indoor-swimming poolshark, speedfreak, black-white horrorfilm
(so, not all was wet at the traxx, but much was traumatic), hm.

That Grauhandversteinerung basically also should be a statement against heteronormativity, would mostly be dropped, f.e.
the people of Bielefeld and Gütersloh often didn´t understand the irony in deconstructive titles and games with samples, just as little that
deliberate pornographic contents of so called "modern abstract culture" were taken, parodiziced and for that, neutralized
to transpose them into the at that time without exception antisexual cosmos of meanings of the projectcreature, that only
felt attacked and sucked by the oversexed culture of the past and neither could nor wanted be part of it.

Because one can´t reach anything by subversivity in small or medium cities, "Zero Passing" had to follow, here you find
uncoded text, that you probably need to comprehend, why the projectcreature doesn´t appear at your partys nor anywhere
and started a life with completely new people, who don´t know anything about her past, for that dived completely and will
soon kill herself.

GHV was deliberated Lo-Fi and experimental, sometimes released unfinished things or hint at the end of tracks, not to
feel like continuing, when really something should follow, and so on, for that an overdose of Helge Schneider played a role.
