I'm an independent emcee from Buffalo, NY [716] by the name of Phoenix MF Christ. I've been rapping for about 7 years and during that time I have performed at raves and Hip-Hop events, been in rap battles [my last was hosted by the late Pumpkinhead with Immortal Technique as well as other heads in the rap battle scene in attendance], released demos, and as of recently, have started releasing high-quality songs.
My style is mostly aggressive trap flows drawing inspiration from both the mainstream and the underground. My biggest influences include Cage, Ab-Soul, Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Migos, and Future. 
I rap about my life, mental illness, addiction, depression, the 716, and just about anything else. The biggest goal of my music, beyond providing entertainment, is to inspire my listeners in one way or another towards positive growth. My path has been a dark one that I fear has only just begun and I wish to highlight it in the hopes of helping others find a better one to walk.

Prior to Kanye West announcing the title of the album as Donda, it was originally supposed to be called God's Country.
