This is the 4th track for Rocktober. 

I had the plan to make a medieval ballad about a trucker and his wife and kids at home.

I wrote and wrote and had 6 verses.
When recording, it became a very long ballad. Really, really long.

I got distracted and started with a beat after the last verse. And another beat. A sound. It became fantastic 😆
So, tomorrow's track (5th) will be the remix of this ballad.

I kept 3 verses and perhaps the lyrics are going nowhere, but at least I have something for day 4 🤭

Sometimes I forget you are broken, sometimes I forget your wires are crossed.
Maybe it’s not what we both were hoping if you count the time we surely lost.
I imagine you can see my weakness. Hope it doesn’t block your point of view.
Think we both can see just what the truth is. It’s not like we didn’t have a clue.
You can see through me, and me through you.

I think you’ve forgotten more about love than I ever have, or hope to know.
When you’re getting in, or even out of - maybe we just need to take it slow.
I believe we still can find solutions - answers to the questions we both sense.
Maybe I’m just wrapped up in confusion. Isn’t that the way it’s always been?
Do we have to do it all again?
