At only 19 years old and with releases on both Hospital Records and Med School Music, Keeno presents his debut EP “Nocturne”. Having been named in Knowledge Magazine’s top 20 producers to watch out for in 2013 and with support from the likes of London Elektricity, S.P.Y, Camo & Krooked, BCee and many more, he’s moving up in the scene fast. The UK-based producer is rapidly becoming synonymous for his ability to add orchestral and cinematic elements to drum & bass on a grand scale whilst retaining a strong dancefloor impact.

This 6 track EP features vocalist Louisa Bass and co-producer Whiney, both of whom appeared with Keeno on “No More” which dropped on Hospital Records “Sick Music 3” compilation album back in November 2012. Whiney also co-produced the popular “Isokime” with Keeno from “New Blood 013” earlier this year.

Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. Under the banner of drum & bass it draws on his love for film soundtracks, synthwave, neo-soul and the Japanese pop sub-genre, Shibuya-kei and includes collaborations with Elisabeth Troy, NAMGAWD, Roméo Testa, Ragga Twins, Rothwell and Reija Lee.

‘Electric Echo’, a collaboration with Fightstar’s Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway’s synthwave side project Gunship, encapsulates the ethos of the album merging the unfamiliar with D&B sensibilities to create a fresh and exciting new sound. We also welcome the return of Elisabeth Troy in 'Chasing Sunrise' and Reija Lee in 'Cadence' making for two powerful vocal highlights on the record. For those of a purist nature, fear not; Metrik’s sophomore album is one hundred percent drum & bass and he hasn’t forgotten about the dancefloor. Bangers like 'Western Jam', 'Fatso' and 'Destination Earth' make up a serious proportion of the album’s generous fifteen tracks and reinforce his status as one of the heaviest producers on the block.

Over the past year Metrik has travelled the world representing drum & bass at major festivals of all denominations; from Glastonbury and Global Gathering to Outlook and EDC Las Vegas. All the while crafting remixes for the likes of DJ Fresh, Ellie Goulding, Gorgon City and Martin Garrix, and collaborating with fellow D&B superstars TC and Netsky. Fresh from his classified adventures through time and space, the production wizard, head-banger, dog lover and all round cosmonaut known as Bop has returned.
 
His newly inspired ‘Untitled Patterns’ EP series brings a harmonic fusion of ambient, techno, and jungle stylings together with cyber-mechanical precision and flair. Evolving his trademark Microfunk movement with a newfound innovation, Bop continues bend and the drum & bass paradigm.

Each telling a different chapter in Bop's cosmic voyage - 'Untitled Pattern 52' sees deep and emotive soundscapes bolstered to the rhythm of a dub and techno beat. The additional tale of 'Untitled Pattern 51' is a jungle and footwork hybrid; one with skittering amen drums, marching to a regimented clap in a glorious fusion of classic and contemporary.

'Untitled Pattern 54' welcomes a bouncy techno turn to his journey, this 4x4 rendition cements Bop as one of the most exciting producers on the circuit. Finished up with the tripped out ambient piece 'Untitled Pattern 55'.

Landing safely back on Earth, the first of three ‘Untitled Patterns’ EPs is now primed and ready for our earthly ears. Lightyears ahead of its time, the forward facing and explorative nature of Bop’s production is a testament to the united philosophy shared by the artist and Med School Music.

This song is quite old, but at the same time the lyrics and deeper message of the track were something that meant a great deal to me. It's a concept that I would like to expand on in different mediums in some way, but for now, I am glad to have this form or draft out. 

This song is about breaking through limiting personal thought patterns and beliefs to manifest your dreams, to put it simply. I was very lucky to have Samura add her vocal talents to the hook sections to make them really shine! What an absolute treat. For so many years I've wanted to match my voice with a female vocalist and Samura has seamlessly done it on the backend after the fact! I am so honored to have Devaloop and her to help me bring this track to life.
