Touhou chiptune arrangements

World 1-2 is an album that features renowned game composers alongside the remixers that pay them tribute. It features original music by grammy-nominated Austin Wintory (Journey), Manami Matsumae (MegaMan), and celebrated remixers Stemage and Danimal Cannon (Metroid Metal), among many more. 

World 1-2 is a music project directed and produced by Mohammed Taher of Koopa Soundworks. It's a collaboration album that combines young independent musicians with superstar composers from the video game industry. World 1-2 features a unique blend of original creations and nostalgia-dipped remixes. All proceeds generated from this album will go toward funding new projects by Koopa Soundworks. We hope you enjoy World 1-2 as much as we enjoyed making it!

ZUN was awesome even with his early work in the PC-98 Touhou games, and this amazing piece from Touhou 5 shows that perfectly. Naturally, I had to give it a shot!

From Touhou 3: Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dream, comes one of my favorite-ever final boss themes in gaming history, complete with the pre-fight buildup tune! My adoration of ZUN's composition skill goes back to even the earliest Touhou games (and one of my favorites!), and this RIDICULOUSLY cool theme is still one of my favorites in the series today!

U. N. Owen is one of the songs that ZUN will always be remembered for. ZUN is an absolutely astounding composer and his legendarily awesome theme is one of his best-known works. Naturally, it being one of my favorite Touhou pieces ever, I had to arrange it... But instead of making a remix of the same song every danmaku fan knows by heart, I went with the AWESOME version used in the fangame Touhou-A-Live!

Touhou music is the pinnacle of video game music to me, and this magical boss theme from The Genius of Sappheiros isn't even a ZUN original! Nonetheless, it's from one of my favorite RPGs of all time, and possibly my favorite Touhou game, so I couldn't resist giving a crack at this one!

After ages of work, here's another one of ZUN's best, Hata no Kokoro's amazing theme. This song is one of the finest-crafted pieces of music I've ever listened to, it has a perfect loop and a perfect key change that I tried my absolute best to recreate! Let me know what you think!

Here's another phenomenal piece from the mind of ZUN, the final boss Junko's theme from Touhou 15. I love every second of this piece and how desperate-feeling and intense it is, as it captures this battle perfectly. Here's to one of the coolest final bosses in Touhou with a chiptune remix of the world's greatest composer's work!

Here's the awesome final boss theme of one of my favorite Touhou games, and one of my favorite characters in the series. Shotoku Legend has been a long overdue arrangement for me and I'm thrilled I finally got it done, I LOVE this piece and its incredible mix of electronic and rock!
