He is an artist blessed with innumerable amounts of musical talents. Starts his musical career in late 2014 merged with a bunch of close friends.
He is one of the very few native Sri Lankan underground dance musicians at present in the industry and have proved himself to be a brand much needed for the gigs.
As an artists headed uphill he launched his very own radio show named “Global Therapy’ in 2017 and it became a total hit while being
internationally recognized by the most famous artists in the industry. He Became a true Pioneer and Visionary musician of the Dance music scene that we know today
and became one of the trending DJ artist based in sri lanka.

He has a unique talent to explore the dance floor in any circumstance through his extraordinary taste for music.
As an output of progressive house together with his inherent skill set, he proves to be heading towards resounding success and an ever bright future beyond the borders.

Initially inspired by some late-night local radio shows in the DR – his home country - LUIKA’s interest in electronic music began from a very young age. Back in 2000 he met his first DJs - Jhon Aquaviva, Derrick May and Danny Tenaglia among others - whom he hasn't stopped following. His early years as an electronic music follower were highly influenced by several styles like Acid, House, Electro, Tribal, Progressive and Trance. Even though he enjoyed and followed electronic music, it wasn't until much later that the idea of becoming a DJ and share his music and style came to mind. By this time he had experienced other styles like Minimal, Deep-House and Techno with DJ Producers like Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire which ended up being part of his style.
 
His friends and his instance helped him to become part of the DJ community and by 2003 he started playing in private parties and became resident DJ in some local Clubs. He later experimented an underground scene that became an unstoppable passion.
 
For many years he has been working on his own mixing style and sound by gathering all his music influence in one place and decided to share it with the world through “Between the Beats” - his musical podcast distributed on various platforms.
 
Between the Beats’ brings together a variety of artists, genres and moods from house to hard techno which occupy many trending and important dance floors from the culture of Electronic Dance Music.
 
Along with other interesting ideas to share the love for music, LUIKA will be also posting about local presentations, studio mixes, DJ collaborations to his podcast and his own productions. Stay tuned and find out what is coming next with this guy.
