Welcome back, old friend! It's been quite a while since Valencia-based producer Sylvain Soulier, better known as Darlyn Vlys first appeared on the Upon You Sweet & Sour Series back in 2010 and a lot has happened since then. Now, backed by releases on well respected labels like Sincopat, Terminal M and many others, it's time for Darlyn Vlys to make a big return, serving a massive TechHouse anthem for 2016. The original version of „Colours“ fuses big room TechHouse, a slightly proggy feel and ever morphing Acid references to a great, spiralling and well-enthralling effect, building up nicely before Forrest serves a killer vocal performance that is yet simple, powerful and fascinating, an anthemic array of words that a new generation of punters will never forget once they've heard them on a large rig. Instant classic detected. Our man Ruede Hagelstein strips down things a little in his remix, focusing on the techier, cleaner and more scientific side of the TechHouse spectrum and coming up with a hypnotizing minimalist Acid version backed by an effective two tone, Intelligent Techno-resembling bass and nice floating synth arrangements to be loved by tech purists for a reason. Finally the young German producer Tim Engelhardt is going deep with his version, focusing on gooey, all embracing sawtooth bass beauty and a crystalline, melancholia-inducing motif layered on top of decent beat foundation gravitating towards uptempo realms for the small hours.

So there it is. The Set that both of us would probably describe as one of our sickest experience. Playing the closing set at Schuhkarton on the opening Night was ridiculous and we are thankful for every single one who danced their asses of in the morning! The boy’s ears were filled with endless amounts of recycled stardust - so that whenever he put on his headphones to make music, everything he created sounded like heaven. And the boy’s mind was constantly buzzing with impulses - so that whenever he expressed himself, they came pouring out of him in the form of sublime music. To us, he is known as Ninze.
Ninze is multi-faceted, yet utterly recognisable in his style. Having first taken the music scene by storm with unique productions and famously slo-ow DJ sets alongside his 2nd half Okaxy, he has since evolved as a solo artist as well as a member of the production- and live performance trio Wide Awake. 
No matter what he does, you can always hear it: that distinct sound that makes your knees feel like jelly and your thoughts like cloudy shadows. It’s a vibe that transports you to a place in your mind, something in between diving into trippy underwater melancholia and shooting up into deep cosmic space.
It’s only fitting then that our next podcast is a live set recorded specially for the Urban Cosmic Universe. If you listen closely, you’ll notice the little shooting stars, pulling you deeper and deeper into a world you can lose yourself in with ease.
