Before we start, we felt that we need, to clear up some myths because there is a greater chance of Spirral being misrepresented now as THE NET IS LARGER. Special, deep groove, unique, natural is what you can get from the original. We have found that over the years it seem that electronic music scenes is developing in Singapore. As a Dj, Producer and remixer himself claims he use to be a raver and still a raver. Work by day and looking forward for party by night. Spirral was inspired by all this great Djs likes Underworld, Sven Vath, Umek, Faithless, Sister Bliss also Dave Angel. Listening to old progressive house music by global underground and all the great DJ's from all over the world back during the years. Spirral himself got addicted to Djing as he slowly promote himself with link like myspace.com, podcast.com, soundcloud.com create event on facebook. From there on, he joined producing competitions. Travel around the globe meeting other Dj's to share his experience also his music productions and get to play in some clubs around the globe that makes him feel so representative from his own country Singapore. Even if it’s not well recognize or just an underground scene organization. Consider been called up to play in New Asia Bar Swiss Hotel one of the tallest building in Singapore could be a rush feeling for him over the top. In 2001, Spirral started with producing and deejaying. One year later his first common project with DJ Denodusk was born at ‘Liberty’ Chijmes. Spirral played in several clubs and he worked hard in his studio on a couple of tracks. In 2001 his music production “Deep outer space” was sent to most production competitions. After the success, Spirral kept producing several album of his own. “Behaving at my own age” 2004, “Rock the electro mullet” 2005, “Simple” 2006, “Spark plug” 2007, “Absolutely mysterious” 2008, “Flying casino” 2009, “World journey”2010, “Circle of Life”2011, “Protocol”2012, “Deep Inside”2013 and more to come. In 2006 Spirral came back selected to play for Heineken thirst studio competition. His voted top ten contestants at World Wide Music Festival Giles Peterson Asia-Pacific Talent Search (Singapore Edition) in 2009. Spirral solo career has kicked off with the massive tune a got big resonance & many plays by DJs around the world. Such as Clubmixed.com Uk. As a logical step for Spirral, he got countless requests for deejaying around the globe such as in Qingdao, China (Caribbean Club/Bar) in Sept 2009. He was invited on numerous occasions to spin all over Singapore and recently he spinned at China One Club (Singapore) and in one of the prestigious skyscaping hotel, Swiss Hotel club called the New Asia Bar. He was invited to Korea and also Japan for the World Music Festival (Sukiyaki meets the World) in 2008/2009. In April 2008, Portugal Setubal (Design Cafe). February 2010, he was also spinning in some of the up-north of Bali clubs called Pasha and Volcano.

A true product of the Nation’s Capital, D Eagle spent his early years in the grim trenches of South East Washington DC. Upon being relocated to Uptown (Northwest DC), he gravitated to an older group that inadvertently inspired him to rap. “All of them were doing it and I looked up to them, so I did it too,” he remembers. “… and I liked it.”

A true Gemini, D Eagle’s ability to adapt to new environments has always had its benefits and detriments. On the overwhelming positive end of the spectrum, he became fast friends with Chico MDA. On the other end, he was subject to the trappings of the streets and didn’t mind the risk that came with its subsequent lifestyle.

A go getter of all sorts, young D Eagle created revenue streams any which way he could. From pumping gas to selling candy, shoveling snow and even selling drugs, he did whatever he needed to do to earn money. While music presented an escape and a viable option for his future, D Eagle’s immediate needs were met via the hustle. As such, balancing the two became a struggle and the streets won by default.

“I started taking music seriously around 19 or 20, but didn’t really know how things would go,” he says. “I should have kept it going, but just kept running the streets.”

Unsurprisingly, the promising rapper caught multiple charges, one of which landed him on house arrest the entire summer of 2011. While his fervor for music remained, he was unable to record or share any of it with his would be fans. Two years later, Chico caught a drug charge and wasn’t expected to come home anytime soon.

Deflated, but determined to change his path, D Eagle spent the next four and a half years on and off the streets. In 2013, he was featured on Adash’s album, All In, but that wasn’t enough to pull him back into studio permanently. It wasn’t until a startling turn of events reversed Chico’s circumstances, which served as the epiphany D Eagle needed.

“When he was in I was just trying to get my money right,” D Eagle says, noting the birth of his son in 2010. “I wasn’t even thinking about music. When he came home he was like, ‘We need to start working and get on our shit.’”

They did exactly that. Since Chico came home and the MDA Entertainment family realigned, D Eagle has been featured on two mixtapes: Streets Music Volumes 1 & 2. He is also in the midst of recording his first EP (untitled as yet) and releasing his own debut mixtape – Classic.

In retrospect, it’s a story that didn’t have to be told had fate not intervened.

“I needed to quit while I was ahead and do something positive with myself,” D Eagle says. “God was looking out cause it could have been worse. It could have been major.”

No teenage boy should mature without getting all his angry "head banging" out of his system right! Then there was the "rap" years, which eventually became negative sounding (to me) because of the "gangster rap" explosion! Then... thank my lucky stars! I fell in love with House music the summer of 1992. I was introduced to it by my new English friend Chris Lester, who had just moved to my neighborhood from Brain Tree, England. Back then I didn't know how lucky I was to hear his collection of underground mix tapes! We were listening to tracks that didn't hit "the states" for 3 to 4 years to follow! Those were the days when, if you were driving down the street, and heard House music coming from someones car you flagged them down, cause you knew you had something in common with them. Which is what led me to discover the underground, on many different levels. My stories can go on and on, but for now I just want to say thank you Chris! For introducing me to your friend "Jack"!

Wreckers are Dejan Jovanovich a.k.a Prospect (Serbia) and Ricardo Perez a.k.a Quality Sound (Mexico). These 2 young Talents first collabed in 2009 after releasing a track togheter by the name of "Get Control". A track that was followed by highly positive reaction from their friends, fans and on dancefloors worldwide. These days Wreckers are working on their debut album that will be released on Move Records next year. Wreckers have been collabroting & remixing some of the psy scene top artists such as: Perplex, Ion, Didrapest, Phanatic, Underbeat, Sundose, Freedom Fighters, Volcano, Digital Tribe, Xsi and the list goes on... While I can appreciate all music, you will usually find me listening to artists like Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Josh Turner. Music awakes emotions imprinted in your soul and, depending on my mood, my speakers may be blasting some Journey, Bryan Adams, or (yes, I'll admit it) Meatloaf that I can sing along to, or maybe I am putting the words to emotions I struggle to express with the help of lyrics by Josh Turner, Garth Brooks, George Strait, or the likes. 

Classical music, operas, and cheesy love songs all have a special place in my heart. And, when I want to let loose and dance or rock out, electronica, pop, or rock&roll is where I'll go. 

Bands like Pearl Jam, Metallica, Pantera, and Nine Inch Nails bring me back to teenage years where I ferociously sought to understand who I was and where I belonged in this world. I recall times when I felt so lost and broken that I relyed metal, punk, or even rap music playing so loudly that I could just lose myself entirely.

Concerts, shows, festivals, clubs, and raves would unearth rhythms I couldn't resist dancing to or awaken a fierce and carnal hunger in my being that could only be satisfied by the violence of a mosh pit.

Frank Ocean once said "when you're happy, you enjoy the music. But when you're sad, you understand the lyrics." And music has been a trusted friend that shared in the greatest moments of my life, a loyal confidant in which I trusted with my deepest, darkest fears, and when I found myself overwhelmed and unable to express how I felt, music would reach into my heart and pull out the perfect words. 

Needless to say, I love music, and I need it in my life as much as the air I breathe.
