Sticky Fingers - How To Fly

Here is a song idea of mine. I will likely not finish this idea, I never do unless I have a band to work with. 

I always liked this chord progression, so I used it. I thought it might sound good with a march-like snare pattern, and some surf rock guitar. 

Excuse the poor quality, I'm not a pro-wiz mix and master dude...I use just audacity and limited hardware.

I did this track for my final project in my midi class. I wish i had more time to work on it, i didn't really get a chance to finish it. The quote at the end is from Rozz Williams.

Here is another short something I did. It is a bit off, but I decided I'd upload it anyways. A random burst of inspiration hit me to pull this off. I was experimenting with droning that guitar riff+timpani/bass rhythm all the way through. 

Starts off with introducing the drone, then the next section introduces an organ, which then fades out into the next section dominated by that simple piano, which then leads us the the outro which refocuses on the droning guitar. 

I had mostly these guys in mind when formulating this: The Velvet Underground, John Cale, The Animal Crossing Museum, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Death Cab For Cutie...

I might redo this.
