Out the window on the left
Miles and miles of tenements remain
In broken glass on motorways
The children run and play out in the rain

In the center of the circle surrounded by the stones
Built upon the bones of the ancient graves
We dance and we sing in the sun and in the rain
It's all the same... in the end our memory remains

Night falls cool and gentle upon the land tonight
The stars burn like streetlamps for all the tired eyes

I wrote this song in Summer 2023. It's a joyful get-up-the-morning and enjoy the day song.
I recorded most of the instruments in a tent at a festival on a very very hot day, where I was storytelling.

The wish for the next year is to regain our freedoms. Freedom of thought, the individual ability to be able to elaborate what we call reality and try to understand the system we live in. And freedom of expression, freedom to express one's ideas, even if they are different from those of most people, especially in this moment in which there is this tendency to single thought.
