London-based artist Nicola Claudine’s signature sound is a rich blend of global influences and cinematic flair. Raised listening to vibrant Brazilian jazz and 20th century classical music, Nicola’s work defies genre by weaving together influences from soul, bossa nova, IDM, Turkpop, and more. The result is music with a rare quality: earworm melodies against a backdrop of complex harmony. As an accomplished pianist and saxophonist, Nicola combines live instrumentation with electronic production effects for a musical energy that is alive and hypnotic. Her style has been compared to Sade, Moonchild and Laura Misch.

Gonçalo Gato is one of the Panufnik Composers associated with the London Symphony Orchestra, working towards a new orchestral piece. Under the supervision of Julian Anderson and Paul Newland, he completed doctoral studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Recent works include 'Vacuum Instability', an octet premiered by BBC Symphony Orchestra musicians, conducted by Richard Baker at Maida Vale Studios, 'A Walk in the Countryside', for flute, premiered by Ensemble Recherche's Martin Fahlenbock, 'Canti Firmi', premiered by Guildhall New Music Ensemble conducted by James Weeks and 'Comendador u m'eu quitei', premiered by Ensemble MPMP, conducted by Jan Wierzba,
His music has been played in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal and Brazil.

Electrologues est un projet dédié à l'improvisation musicale et à l'exploration des nouvelles technologies multimédia. Il a été créé en 2011 et il est réalisé par deux artistes aux différents parcours musicaux, originaires du Portugal et du Venezuela. Le projet est basé à Paris et il s'appuie sur une pratique créative constante entre ses membres pour la réalisation des projets originaux et l'exploration de leurs travaux de recherche.

Electrologues a comme but la réalisation d'une sorte de « laboratoire sonore » fondé sur plusieurs approches à la musique: électroacoustique, électronique, musique mixte et live electronics. L'improvisation devient le cadre de réalisation des actions sonores mises en place par les deux musiciens qui interagissent avec d'autres expressions artistiques telles que la danse ou la création vidéo.

Fondé par João Fernandes et Gabriel Peraza,  le groupe Electrologues s'intéresse à la diffusion et au développement de la pratique de l'improvisation.

Electrologues is a music and multimedia oriented project. Born in 2011, it puts together three composers with very different musical backgrounds. Based in Paris (France) and with an active network including France, Portugal and South America, Electrologues' mission is to carry out creative projects as a group, at the same time promoting the productions of each single member.

The music research areas include the production of electroacoustic and instrumental music, the investigation of generativity and interactivity (throughout installations and performances associating music, video and dance), and a formally organised improvisation, in which a set of pre- determined algorithmic rules are heuristically realized, according to the hic et nunc of any given performance.

The founding members of Electrologues are João Fernandes and Gabriel Peraza.
