‘Party’s over’ was the second song written on the album. It was written about the transition between being a teenager and an adult. It also is written for adult based problems, like, being an alcoholic. Sometimes you don’t want to grow up and take on adult responsibilities. “I never asked to grow up.” I also talk about how I wasted a lot of my pre-teen/teenage years being sad.
