Singer and songwriter K. Daneé was born and raised in the lively city of New York in the heart of the summer, August. Singing came naturally to her at a very young age, as she comes from a long line of singers, songwriters, artists and composers. The R&B singer realized she was gifted with a voice when she was 4 years old after singing with her mother and sisters. She began writing poetry and raps at the age of 8 during her school hours and soon brought the gift home where she was able to expand her craft on her free time. By the age of 9, K. Daneé was introduced to the genre, R&B/Soul and began writing songs according to it.
      
The inspiration for K. Daneé’s lyrical spunk and vocal abilities come from many artists such as Jhené Aiko, Ne-Yo, Esthero, Toni Braxton, Tank and Chris Brown. Putting raps and poems to the side, K. Daneé geared her focus towards R&B. In the fall of 2017, after years of filling up journals and using the voice notes in her phone for singing, she decided it was time to take her music career to the next level.

Music is like an art form to us, we use it to express our feelings when things aren’t necessarily going correct. Our objective is to change the way people listen to Rap music. In fact, five years ago some people said that we were not going to last one month but it is our job to overcome all the negativity thrown into us. I’m aware of the fact that we are not getting enough exposure for such a talented group of guys but it’s fine by us, why? There is a saying that says “Some people say you are going the wrong way, when it’s simply a way of your own.” The moral of this quote is to be self-assured and not let others words define who you are as an artist. We will reign!
