There is something honest and beautiful about this song. It is written in a time when South Africans question their gains in the last 22 years. Where an understanding of Freedom is changing. Where people, especially young, are challenging the status quo. "Isthupha Sakho" meaning your thumb, talks about the vote. About passing on our responsibilities to someone else. It is time we became active citizens. Better citizens, for this land that we borrow from our kids.
