DeeJay Ford is a solo Hip-Hop artist and the owner of an independent label, Nerd Flow Music LLC. Defying the excessive emphasis on "where you're from" or "what do you represent”, DeeJay tends to stray from stereotypes and performs in his own, unique way.

Although raised in Louisville, KY,  DeeJay was fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend some formidable young adult years in Chicago. DeeJay shares a love affair with both cities and having family in both, claims each as home. 

DeeJay doesn't go out of his way to create an imaginary image that carries the appealing qualities a stereotypical “rapper” is presumed to have. Quoted recently he says, “It’s a trip working in such a contradictory music genre. How do we measure success? The statement 'Keep It Real' is constantly overused by a handful of artists with music catalogs full of folklore. My definition of success has definitely evolved. I don’t write, perform or produce for fame, fortune or accolades.  Success is simply the ability to be able to do what I love, which is create music, and inspire people. Words are powerful, and they can uplift, or they can kill the spirit. Words can start wars, or bring peace."

DeeJay credits many artists for inspiration, not just musically, but spiritually as well. DeeJay’s influences range from 2Pac to OutKast, Prince to MJ, and even rock groups like Nirvana and Led Zeppelin. “I just love good music created by talented artists of all genres.”

DeeJay delivers his wordplay in tandem, like perfectly fit puzzle pieces, while telling witty and compelling stories to a variety of hard hitting productions, spanning from jazzy underground tunes to straight trap music, uniquely delivering it all without using any profanity. "My two biggest fans are my son and my daughter. I want to be able to encourage them and share my music with them, and other fans of all ages around the world. Hip-Hop isn’t a genre that parents can often enjoy with their kids. I want families to share my music, because there's something special about that!"

Basicly, this is my chance to memorized myself in future, that I was once an anime lover in past.

Epilogue

First and foremost, there must be a reason why I love J-music so much...Yes, anime was the main 
reason why I loved J-music, but there the other reason why I loved them.I start listening Japan
music/song when I was fifteen.[I think] That time, I remember, I played Dragon Nest Sea, watching 
a guide about Green Dragon Nest in YouTube, and I found a video. These video contains the gameplay
with a J-music. Its was Scandal by Harukaze, Ao-iconoclast by KOTOKO and Sousei no Aquarion by
Akino Arai.

But among these 3 song, I love Ao-iconoclast by KOTOKO so much. So, I make up decision to search more
about KOTOKO song in YouTube. And at the same time, I found her song, Re-Sublimity. I was like addicted
Re-Sublimity, which known as Kannazuki no Miko Opening. Then I start to memorized Re-sublimity and then
I start to sing Ao-iconoclast back. The day after day had passed. 

There a lots of KOTOKO song that I found in YouTube [over 50x of her song upload by various people in playlist] 
such as Agony, Amethys, Asu he no namida, Being, Belvedia [the front line cover], Blaze, Crossed Destiny, Do you 
feel loved, Face of facts, Fatally, Fusion star, I can't get over your best smile, I pray to stop my cry, Imaginary
affair, Jihad, Just as time running out, Lament, Light my fire, Love a riddle, Oblivion, Oboetete ii yo,
Prime "Thank you" and "From now", Radiance, Resolution of Soul, Restoration, Sakuranbo kiss, Second Flight,
Sensitive, Shooting Star, Snow angle, Sociometry, Suppurtion Core, Trust your Truth, Undying Love, UZU-MAKI,
We survive, and Wing my Way. All of those song actually not as good as J-music nowdays, but those songs
got their own unique remix and melody, which it still fresh in my memories now.
