Widukind married a Viking Princess by the name of Geva Eysteindsdotter, the daughter of a Viking Jarl from Denmark.
She must have been a strong lady to be able to keep up with all the hardships of war, travel and childbirth. 
She was one of the reasons that Widukind's resistance against Charlemagne finally broke; his surrender was based on the Frankish promise that his family would be safe (that story will be told on the album "Widukind II : Saxon Blood").
They stayed together untill the end.

Geva Eysteindsdotter (Widukind I : The Old Ways, nr. 2)

I compose and record music to stories, legends and myths. I have always been captured and inspired by stories about knights, dragons and magic with a deep love for my own Saxon heritage and history.
I have a small music studio at home where i try to translate my favourite legends, myths and stories to music. 
I am self taught and compose, play, record, mix and master everything myself. The art for my albums and my logo is my own work as well.
