Rabbi Mendel Kaplan is the Spiritual Leader and Executive Director of Chabad Flamingo in Thornhill, Ontario, serving one of Canada’s most dynamic Jewish communities. He also serves as Chaplain of the York Regional Police Service. He is an active member of Toronto’s Vaad HaRabbanim (Council of Orthodox Rabbis), and a voting member of the COR Kashruth Council of Canada’s executive rabbinical board. Rabbi Kaplan is featured regularly on many local television and radio shows. He is a sought after speaker, with hundreds of lectures on Chabad.org. He and his wife, Faygie, are blessed with eight children. Artistically endowed, the rabbi enjoys drawing, sketching and creating charcoal portraits.

Signed by a Major (EMI) It's with my very first band Mistral, Album 's "Sexy Beau" And a lot after that 🤣 I'm (nearly) ok with everything i've done, sometime it's not equal. Depends of the production, the band, etc. But if it's there, means I Love it 😉But still, the best is coming ! I'm recording, working on my new LP. Benjamin vient du Rock. Au début des années 80, il est d’abord le leader, guitariste, auteur/compositeur du groupe Mistral (rock tendance énervée, PunK) avec lequel il enregistre deux albums pour des majors. Avec le premier album « Sexy Beau » (Pathé Marconi) et des titres comme « Les Fils de l’acier » et « C’est si facile », il se constitue un public fidèle et tourne avec U2, Talking Heads, Scorpions, INXS, etc. Le single « Unisex »  s’invite dans les Charts et lui ouvre une fenêtre sur l’international. A la fin de Mistral, il a le plaisir de collaborer avec PRINCE, durant trois mois, pour le tournage d’« Under The Cherry Moon ». Une expérience Musicale et Cinématographique ave le Prince de la POP ! C’est à Londres, ensuite, qu’il forme Ménage à Trois (deux hommes et une machine, New Wave) ; Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, partout en Europe.
