Great to see the return of Toko Records, whom along with their contemporaries Paper Recordings, Glasgow Underground and Shaboom were responsible for a slew of classic northern UK deep house tracks in the mid to late nineties. After a 20 year break they are back with two releases set for late summer from label mainstay Si Brad. The Sheffield based label's eye for sonic quality has not gone away; with a diverse selection of tracks ranging from downtempo, sunset chillers to a soaring deep house roller with a stunning vocal delivery from Azeem that proves to be one of the tracks of the summer. Look out also for an epic eleven minute cosmic re-work from Psychemagik on the first release.

Lauren is a resident at Good Room in Brooklyn with L&L&L Record Club and has a monthly show on The Lot Radio. Lauren also throws a bi-monthly party called Love Games with Finn Jones at Good Room. A party where disco never died and love saves the day, Love Games is inspired by The Loft where the decks are open to any track that makes you wanna get down.

This mix is a collection of 10 of my favorite tracks I've heard this year. Some of them are new edits, by friends like @universalcave and Sasha Soh (@astralplanes2ser), some of them are older hidden gems, but all of them are sexy-ass tunes."
