The Quadrasphere 018 - Cousin Silas

Its time for another Quadrasphere and once again, its another very special one. We are extremely blessed to welcome Cousin Silas to our series, and he does not disappoint. He has carefully crafted a mix of all his own material, including some edits made exclusively for us and his mix. Cousin Silas has been producing music, both electronically and acoustically for a very long time, and he also is one of the biggest champions of other producers, inspiring many collaborations and projects, primarily through his Cousin Silas Emporium. His music is a regular feature during the ambient intro's to our Dub Exploration shows, and its clear to see why. We thank him again for his time and wonderful mix. Please check his work here:

"Not sure if some of the edits could indeed be classed as exclusives, in truth they have been created just for this mix, so??? A Sprig Of Rowen, Anemoa 2-1, and Emporium Drone 018 haven't been released yet, so depending on when this mix sees the light of day, that may well have changed, but as of creating this, it's true that they are unreleased!
The times are as close as dammit, have to be honest I've never been able to work out how to do time stamps, but like I say, the times in the list above are close.
The albums they come from are in brackets."

Grey Frequency is the project of British artist Gavin Morrow. Through the manipulation and composition of electronics, field recordings and found sounds he explores themes of memory, modern mythology and the world of audio disintegration.

About the mix he said:
"A deep-listening blend of haunted ambience, dusty drones and ethereal electronics. Intertwined moments of beauty and unease - light and shade. For best results, please listen to this mix in a dimly lit or no-light environment, preferably in a horizontal position."
