This was written and recorded on my 4-track reel to reel one night in 1983 while under the influence of Orange Microdot.  No editing or remixing has been done, although Bob Bowden recently cleaned up the noise and hiss for me.  (Thanks Bob.)

Heute fege ich den Boden,
Haushaltsarbeit mag ich sehr.
Hurtig schwinge ich den Besen,
feiner Staub fliegt hin und her.
So geht es durch jedes Zimmer,
auch in dieser Ecke war ich schon.
Fegen lebt von Wiederholung,
wie aktive Meditation.

Ach, des Nachbars' Sauger
ist ein wahres Ungetüm:
durch die Wand kann man ihn hören,
Hund und Katze hassen ihn.
Ich bevorzuge den Besen,
der ist ruhig, brauch keinen Strom.
Heute fege ich den Boden -
aber das sagte ich ja schon...
