I am a DIY musical maverick (some may say eccentric) who's been making my way in the industry for over four decades. 
Based in East Yorkshire, UK and drawing from a rich tapestry of influences accumulated over many years, I create an eclectic blend of rock, pop, ambient and other genres in each of my tracks. The result is a fresh and unique listening experience.
As an independent artist, I am free from the constraints of a record label or manager, allowing me to create interesting songs and instrumentals that take iconic sounds from the last 50 years and transform them into something new and sonically thrilling. I strive to stand the test of time and make a lasting impact on the world of music.

The city of Pontiac, Michigan once thrived as a landlord of General Motors, even receiving the honor of having a GM brand named after the city itself.  Men and Women relocated to Pontiac (Yac for short), gaining employment within the auto-industry. Families earned decent wages, and the community prospered as a whole. Those days are long gone, and the abandonment of the Auto Industry has left a crippling effect on the entire city, now plagued with unemployment, crime and corruption.

One Be Lo and Derek “The Tyrant Caraway, both natives of Pontiac join creative forces to establish a new production team called The AUTOCONS.

The machines and the bodies of those GM workers may have burnt out in the factories, but their spirit lives forever. Residents of Pontiac have been familiar with the Phoenix as a symbol since construction of the Phoenix Center in the ‘80’s, a huge structure that lies in the heart of the city.  Many legends speak of the Phoenix being a bird that possesses the ability to be reborn from it’s own ashes.  The AUTOCONS logo is a skull, that displays wear and decay, but contains a Phoenix within that represents hope and new life.  A Rebirth, and ultimately a New Yak State of mind.

“It’s kinda ironic that Derek converted his mother’s garage into a studio.  “That’s where we met.  Instead of working on cars, we work on music.  It was around the time I was mixing LABOR.  I would be downtown at another studio all day working on the mixes for LABOR,  then at night when everybody went home I would link with Derek at the garage and work on music, sometimes til the afternoon.  Sometimes we went 2 and 3 days straight in the studio.  We worked like zombies.  Two of the first songs we did together were “Tails from the Hood R.a.t.s. and “Doggy Style Biscuits”.  Those were the last two songs I added to the LABOR album.  We had know idea it would turn into this.

From those nocturnal studio sessions, the foundation was laid.  Dave Vied (DMT) and his guitar are also a part of the team.  All those crazy guitar solo’s you hear on LABOR and most of the new stuff is all Dave.  Another member of the team is Gasmaskedaily. We need more than just impactful artists, but ones who make a positive impact and inspire the youth to do better and strive for success as well as the improvement of their own communities. Born in Queens, New York, and raised in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area, Speechless has made his way up to the top from nothing. Inspired by the sounds of Jam Master Jay, DJ Clue and other credited DJs, he knew music was his way of life. He loved listening to different beats of music and mixing them together to make a vibrant effect. When he scored a job working for XM Radio in DC, he had the pleasure of meeting Russell Simmons, who said these wise words, “The world is open to whatever you want it to be open too.” From then on Speechless made it his business to pursue his passion of hyping up crowds, pumping out phenomenal mixtapes, and working with talented artists, from coast to coast.
“I deliver my talent when I perform on the turntables. I remember the 4th mixtape I dropped pushed at least 8000 local copies. Everyone was listening to it in their cars and people would ask when the next mixtape would be released; knowing that so many people enjoy your craft makes you strive that much more,” says Speechless.
The DJ has always been selective with the artists he works with. “Talent isn’t what you make it, it’s a natural aptitude, and I collaborate with a lot of established and upcoming artists.”
His ability to understand his crowd and generate playlists accordingly sets his style from other DJs. He spins what his clients like to hear. The rising DJ sets himself apart from the rest by putting extensive hours into his practice and never accepting less than the best from himself. “People get tired of the same songs all the time, they like a mixture of genres,” says Speechless.
Speechless has been flooding the streets with non-stop hit mixtapes for the past three years. He plans on accomplishing a world known name in the music industry.
