A remixed version of Hioll's "Pagan Tools EP" containing six unique interpretations of the original tracks. The artists in charge of shaping the material are Bas Mooy from Netherlands, Michal Jablonski from Poland, Temudo from Portugal, Lars Huismann from Germany and the Italians ArchivOne and Alfredo Mazzilli. Each one contributing with their well-know and respected personal sound and distinctive signature. Diversity and functionality are the keywords for this unique reference.

Nearly two years since their last release on Bade Records, and a year since their last original EP, Brothers Black return home to their London imprint with ‘Justify’, a focussed four track EP in their trademark style.

The brothers open the EP with ‘Long Way Back’, a rolling ambient piece combining distorted washing chords with spacey choral chords and space-age detailing. The title track ‘Justify’ follows, combining  heads-down, slamming percussion with vocal sampling from one of pop’s greatest legends. The third track, ‘Bloodhound’, is an effective, frantic tool that combines rolling percussion with an eerie lead and swirling strings. Finally, the brothers round off the EP with chained, a groove-orientated FM tool with sharp industrial stabs.

Darkness My Old Friend

A composer all my life however about 8 years ago I got cancer ( terminal they said) and moved to India and gave away everything I owned so when I recovered all I could do was think " Let's see what's next" Next was Bellingham Washington in the forest. About 2 years ago I decided I wanted to write again but no one up here can sing or play which meant I would need to do it all and do it into a MacBook Pro with Logic and a Controller and if I'm singing and w hat do I think about this? Well although I went to music school and was on Warner's and Atlantic back in the day then started doing TV   and Film so it seems I have the opportunity to evolve and am now able to do many things I thought I couldn't. As soon as I thought that I started waking up with music in my head every morning and in 2 years-ish I have written about 200 Pieces of music in every genre there is and I feel like I am supposed to help is why I didn't die and sharing my music is a start. I need Lyricists and a couple of great singers to make it better and collaborate if there are folks like me. Thank you for stopping by.
