1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection"

I'm a DJ, drummer, producer and part time designer based in London. I drum with The Expansions, and co-run the Albert's Favourites record label. After studying fine-art, my passion turned to music. I started collecting records and making my own electronic music in the year 2000. These days my collection is eclectic but firmly rooted around anything soulful, whether it's Funk, Disco and Latin or Hip Hop. Open ears, open mind! 

2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about what you love about the format.

There's an abundance or amazing compilations and and incredible album re-issues on 12" on the market today, but is there anything purer than the 7"? I think not. They are just so damn punchy! 
3) One hour of vinyl goodness... can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?

This mix seemed like a nice excuse to 'dig in my own crates' and pull out some things that I wouldn't necessarily play out or have neglected of late, alongside some very recent releases. With a lot of my recorded mixes I like to start steady and gradually crank the tempo up throughout the mix, so we start with a kind of Hip Hop tempo and finish up somewhere in the disco-house zone (apart some the dubby comedown finale). There's all kinds of things going on in the mix, enjoy the ride!
