Would you rather be stuck in a lift with your heroes or your villains?
I wrote this as an end of album track with topics from the earlier songs to sum up the story about the characters behind those numbered doors in a tower block I don't live in or share a lift with. Love a good story.

I sent Al Ashford a very rough phone recording… we linked up live on Cubase (Hereford to Devon ) Al recorded some guitars. Drums recorded from another session fitted the song with some twiddling. Lyrics written in the ice cream van 🚐 A proper cool collaboration! The Final mix was transmitted live from Devon U.K to N.Z between us to get it sounding sweet.

This song has been an awesome musical bike ride of discovery. 
Al Ashford sent me a picture from NZ on tour of him riding a bike through time. A song had to be written from it. A great bit of unexpected inspiration is always welcome.
