FuneyG_RSA BIOGRAPHY 


FuneyG_RSA was born Lufuno Daniel Gogoro on the 06 June 1980 in Ha Mailula Village, Vhulaudzi Venda to the late Elisa Ntsundeni Tshisevhe Gogoro. 


He is the 4th born and a very energetic person. Throughout his childhood he was involved in youth clubs doing music, acting, dance and debates. 


He moved to Siloam when he was 10 years when his mother bought a stand in Siloam Village and later on in 1996 he moved to  Johannesburg where he continued to be involved in youth development through youth clubs. He use to host modeling and beauty contests as well as music competitions. His passion for arts and culture saw him being involved in politics because of lack of transformation within the arts and culture at grassroots level.  


He went on to be involved in the establishment of the Economic Freedom Fighters where after 3 years he left and continued working towards realising his vision of creating a music group. He worked with the likes of the late Mandoza, Formee Mandoza manager Kevin Riss aka Kevin Ntaopane,  Bravo, Big Ropza who is his other producer as well as the likes of Omo Phola from Nigeria. He formed a group called Revival Gang which went on to win the Best Kwaito Song of the Year at the South African Upcoming Musician Awards with the hit song Embedeni (with Revival Gang). 


He is currently working with Big Ropza, Revival Gang,  Phalaphala FM presenter Rofhiws GVoice Nekhumbe,  Negos Tambudzeni Negondeni (his current producer), Sub Zero, Dj V Neck, Easy T known as Venda King Rap, Taylor Rock from Durban, Cishaz, Papzo.

He is also working with Angel Eyes of Angel Eyes Entertainment, General GTZ of Chiskop, Dj Active who use to produce Makhadzi, Dj Rhezoo of Shelela Boys. 

He is also the CEO of Dzuvha Creative Movement which deals with artists issues as well as uniting artists and give them a professional platform to pursue their craft


FuneyG_RSA is not a genre based musician but he does music despite its genre or culture. His is versatile 


FuneyG_RSA is the owner of Afrotrix Management and Records which gives platform to aspiring musicians to record their songs. 


He is also involved in the South African Arts and Culture Youth Forum (SAACYF) under President Romeo Ramuada where they push the needs and aspirations of musicians, actors and make sure that 90% of music and stories played on South African media platforms are local content. 



He currently worked on a hit Gqom Song named Mimi Qatsi which he just shot a music video and the song will be released in 3 weeks time. He has recorded over 30 songs so far

Upon its initial release on his own Monnom Black label, Mixmag named it "Album of the Month", Hardwax described it as “brilliantly banging” and it also took the coveted No.1 spot on Juno Records. 2018 saw Dax release his multi-faceted second solo album “Offending Public Morality”. The record won support across the board, including that of BBC Radio 1 who picked it as their “Biggest Record of the Week”. By the end of 2018, “Offending Public Morality” also featured in the “Top 50 Albums of the Year” lists for DJ Mag, Tsugi and Apocalypse Mag. Two more events that crowned a year of great success were his enrolment into the BBC hall of fame with the release of his debut Radio 1 Essential Mix, and Be.At.TV’s choice of his 4-hour closing set at NeoPop Festival for their “Best DJ set of the year”

MAD DOGG is an influential Music Artist with a devoted following. Born July 21. MAD
DOGG, real name Thato Setseta is a South African hip-hop recording artist from Mahwelereng,
Limpopo.
The artist is best known for being one of few independent artists in the country to reach
commercial successs.
His music career kicked off in in 2009 when he self-released, self-marketed and hand-to-hand
distributed his mix-tape beats, which received a lot of acclaim, with a number of original
beats getting playlisted on several topping numerous music charts. On 15 March 2010, he
independently released his debut single titled 'Respek'. The single was well-received and
featured Trigger from The Hustlers.
Some of the songs from his singles featured on numerous charts including, Reverbnation Weekly
Charts, Soundcloud Chart, Audiomack Chart, voted number in Mokopane for best producer Top
10 Chart. At that time, he became the first hip-hop artist to have two songs in the Top 10 of the
[12/9, 08:21] MAD DOGG: Mokopane chart at the same time. Among his recognitions, he was nominated for top 5 beat
makers in Mahwelereng.
On 8 November 2013, he released his third single 'Ke Summer Nou' through a licensing
partnership between the artist and Electromode [Music and Business Solutions] and debuted at
number 2 on Reverbnation Hip Hop chart.
On July 13, 2015, MAD DOGG's single titled 'Tsa Kasi' was released. The single features
production from South African hip hop record label 3RD EYE 6EATS & Block Range Studios.
MAD DOGG has worked with a number of South African artists, namely, Pvpiii, Kayb Fresh,
Trigger, Psycho Path, Nitchy Divyne, Leekay March, Da Koolkid, Vusi, X-Rays, Mkhure, Dj Nteeza,
Dj Versatile and Isreal, Forbes, Slayzy and Leonaj. MAD DOGG has worked with numerous artists
all over Limpopo, and African rapper and producer Tony Blaze from Ghana.
He has performed several times in different Provinces and has opened his very own Independent
Record Label ‘3RD EYE 6EATS’, MAD DOGG start another career as Producer, Songwriter,
