It sure was about the time to visit at Kangasala / Mr. Jucciz to record a tribute tracks once again. More than obvious choice is a one great Tom Petty -song from Wildflowers. 

This Candy Store of Amps is a one, but not the only - of good reasons to pay a visit (no pedals were harmed during session).

65 Amps London was for rhythm guitar tracks - this time with DeArmond (by Guild) Starfire Special (MIK 2000), with very nice modern U.S. Dynasonics. There is a Rickenbacker available, but I decided use this as it was first time I had a chance to test whether there's any "jangle" in this red beauty.

My Custom '72-style Tele (based on Squier CV '70-series, two-piece swamp ash body, enhanced hardware) for solo with Bassman '64 (old friend from previous sessions).

Mr. Jucciz did even bigger share this time (as normally), playin' such nice base track with drums, bass and all keyboard stuff there is. Only guitars and lead vocals by this time. So, with quite tight schedule we still had time for sauna.

You may see me as old fart. Well, I'm 58 years young now - so, it's just a number. After all, there're only two kinds of music. Good and bad. I've played guitar and bass long enough to get understanding for such statement. You can play wrong note, but keep goin' on. Nobody cares if groove stays on. I like to play around Telecasters of all kinds. BYO-spirit is the thing. I keep combining good parts until "the fit" is found - and then guitar is "frozen" from any further major mods... A great fan of Lollar, TV Jones and Lundgren (great pickups from Sweden).
