The latest Get Physical radio show sees masked acid king, Aiwaska step up with a new mix of squelchy and melodic gems. Aiwaska’s recent ‘303 Mystery’ record has been a real highlight in our early 2024 releases and this mix gives a further insight into the enigmatic artist’s tastes. Opening with his own ‘eMashine’, the mix runs through a selection of floor fillers from the Get Physical family and more. Remixes from Davide Squillace, Andre Salata, Yulia Niko, Thomas Gandey, Johannes Albert and Patrice Baumel provide real depth and flavour and the acidic squelch is never far away. While taking a break from protesting injustice and wrapping up a few new studio projects, laid this mix down during a moment of serene quarantine. An ambient-not-ambient mix of new music to vibe inside to, with twists of emotional current states and occasional rhythmic cameos. May it help you contemplate and find meditative states, to recenter, realign, and recharge for the work ahead that must be done.
