Several days ago the demons of war awoke. We thought we had come to live in peaceful times. Locked in our own bubbles. Focused on the pursuit of an idealized world full of consumption and entertainment. But something broke. A bestial attack on Ukrainian civilians took place next to us. We realized then that not everything we know is given to us forever. Therefore, with modest means, we want to make a contribution to help the victims of war, who are mainly women and children.

We have decided to invite artists whom we value for their artistic work to participate in the compilation. The total income from sales will be donated to Polska Akcja Humanitarna (PAH).

Kri Records strike back with a cassette compilation under an appropriate name: Trust the Rust! Rust dealers come from all over the globe. 

Nasty electro cuts are served by LA-based Ole Mic Odd who has released on labels such as Zement, Italian producer and the mighty Gravitational Waves owner DJ Nephil, British veteran Chupacabras with seals of approval on L.I.E.S. among others, and our Russian friend Larionov, who regularly puts out bangers for Rotterdam Electronix. 

The Electro part of the compilation is rounded by the local Ljubljana legend operating as a DJ and Honest Work label owner, 198319831983. EBM-ish march is saluted by Black Dot, the duo of Christian Kroupa and Le Chocolat Noir, soon releasing music on Mechatronica and responsible for our first release. Christian has also joined forces with the Dallas and Science Cult native Aura Nox. NYC and wave EBM bangers are represented by R Gamble, Spinal is an up-and-coming producer from Chile having released a great EP on Pildoras Tapes, while Bianco Negativo is an Italian duo behind one of our fav labels, Marguerite Records.

Impair Pierre is Léonard Lampion's new alias, created as an escape route from dark basements and the influence of club music. Since 2017, Impair Pierre has been writing songs in his office in Grenoble using synthesisers, guitar, and voice. Finding inspiration in the events of everyday life, he seeks to develop a form of minimalism.

Promenades de jour - this record developed from a desire to write songs that were relatively refined and spontaneous. It brings together experiments with the Yamaha PS-20 synth, songs imbued with a certain melancholy, and others with a more satirical bent. The record is a succession of photos, landscapes, and situations both real and imaginary, like a walk in the spring sun.

Impair Pierre est le nouvel alias de Léonard Lampion créé pour sortir des caves sombres et s’affranchir de l’influence du club. Impair Pierre écrit des chansons depuis son bureau de Grenoble depuis 2017 avec différents synthétiseurs, sa guitare et chante sur certains morceaux. That true beauty lies in the essentiality and meticulous combination of a few elements is sometimes not just a cliché. The delicate blend of Roland CR-78, acoustic guitar and dissonant organs that intertwine in Open Windows is a vivid demonstration of this. It is these few elements, now distant and hinted at and now close and deafening, that paint the backdrop of melancholic nostalgia where laconic whispers move the listener within the paintings that bear the sonic signature of Human Figures. To Daniel Lewis' new project, which has seen its springboard through releases on the label of his friends at Frigio Records, perhaps the adjective "new" is already quite tight. He has built a very recognizable sonic tibre, an influence of producers and listeners at different latitudes of the post-punk and wave scene. 
In the 8 canvases of Open Windows the folk tradition is repainted in a more contemporary guise: the sweet and sad litanies are alternated with fast and frenetic stornelli in which the combination of tradition and experimentation constitutes the stylistic signature. The open window through which the listener has the opportunity to look out in this album does not, however, give onto a natural external panorama. It projects into an inner world where introspection and silence are the only chance to grasp its sublime beauty.

Dalmata Daniel is thrilled to release Redate IV, the latest chapter from our beloved synth jam mastermind J. Mono’s series of archival gems. This album brings together twelve previously unreleased tracks from 2014-2015, showcasing his playful, melodic style across electro, acid, and IDM landscapes with his signature uptempo beats, along with a few more downtempo tracks in this selection .

Alongside the digital release, a limited-edition cassette (60 copies) includes a 39-minute excerpt from J. Mono’s latest live set at the Dalmata Daniel & MMN showcase in 2020, held just days before lockdowns transformed live music. With cover art by Studio Jetski, this cassette captures both the crafted intensity of J. Mono’s studio work and the raw energy of his live performances.
