Ode to a Broken Statue

Manic Elijah is a reference to a time when I found myself in a mental hospital and felt that I had the ‘Spirit of Elijah’ on me. I had something that I can only describe as a vision - a heavenly corridor built of gold and marble - God standing at the end whispering that I am loved. 

I want to write every style that comes into my mind without prejudice. Be it: soft acoustic, end-of-the-world jazz, southern rock, Guthrie-folk, punk or poetry set to music, I want to explore every creative avenue that crosses my path. 

Anyway, I might be your last vestige of late night madness.
