Ever since I picked up my first set of turntables and vinyl over 20 years ago the passion for collecting music and Djing has been insatiable. 

I started off at the age of 16 in the late 90's when trance was the big genre, however it was upon listening to a Danny Rampling mix that I became obsessed with the more funky/disco house sound.

I began playing out in clubs from the age of 17, whilst still studying my A Levels.

I moved to Liverpool as part of my studies and was immersed in the club scene, getting to see some of my heroes and often behind the DJ booth watching them and picking up so much information.

Since returning to Jersey I have managed to play in all of the main venues here, from a 5 year residency at Tanguys to supporting various local nights in Rojos, Ce Soir, The Royal Yacht, WonkyTown, Reasons Festival among many others, and from time to time I have feature mixes on BBC Radio Jersey. 

I now offer a fully mobile DJ service too for any private parties!

The Getaway are a four piece post-punk tour de force originating from Jersey but now based in Brighton. Their songs focus on identity issues young people face with angry in your face lyrics and chaotic music supporting the song themes. They utilise the power of catchy bass riffs with punchy guitar rhythm and lead to create an intense and powerful atmosphere within their music. This is all the more evident in their live shows, which are known to be full of dancing, jumping and a lot of shouting. Taking influence from ska, northern soul and modernist attitudes they have created a unique sound within the post punk scene, especially with the inclusion of trumpet in some of their songs.
