With his humble spirit and easy-going demeanor, 26 year old K.S @ Dj Chaoz is one of Malaysia’s Northern Region’s most active ,creative and respected DJs.

He is obsessed with finding and exposing new music to the local music industry. From the age of 4, he has been musically trained from learning music instruments like the Piano , Electone (organ), Guitars and to the art of Turntablism and Djing. Till when it was inevitable, he'd start to create his own sounds at the age of 15. His original productions have been showcased on TV performances, clubs and live concerts. Most of his compositions consists of R&B , Hip-Hop to Experimental sounds that could be heard featuring various kinds of vocalists globally.

Known in Penang Island’s night entertainment as a Dj/Entertainer/Composer from the year 2005 in Penang’s night spot “Glo Club” with Turntablist skills and Hyping Skills. Now he has build up his reputation in the night scene in Penang as a Dj from clubs to events along side with twin brother “K Wen” as an hype MC. At the age of 16,he had already produced and composed a track for female Canadian R&B singer/rapper “Baby-T” with single “Timez We Had”. The onset of Dj Chaoz’s DJ career occurred in 2002; now he has performed live on TV for estimated hundreds of thousands to a million viewers together with Malaysia’s Hip-hop act COLABR8 who was the nominee for the best Hip-Hop Album for the “2010 NTV7’s - 17th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM 17th)” and has shared stages with international acts such like Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussy Cat Dolls, Girls' Generation (소녀시대 SNSD), Kelis, Black Might (Taipei), Orianthi,
K-Pop Band Sweetie (연인), VJ Dustin Nguyen (MTV Vietnam) & Dharni (World’s rank No.5 Beatboxer) & Hong Kong Actor/Artiste Sam Lee 李璨琛. 

He has also performed along-side & together with known personalities in the entertainment industry in Malaysia such like Faizal Tahir
(one in a Million/Pepsi Ambassador), James Baum, MicStarr Vibe, 40G, 3 flow, Junio Hustle, Lapsap (Dj Blink & Dj XU), Dj Ken and many more. In the year 2006 Dj Chaoz and Colabr8 got tied into a sponsorship contract with Malaysia’s leading hip-hop and street wear label “Echo Park”
He is also the mentor and guru of the young DJ Sputnik (Tay Kek Khoon) who had recently won the National Champion of the “Malaysian Club DJ Mixing Championships 2010” representing the Penang State which puts this into one of his biggest accomplishments so far for the year 2010 for Dj Chaoz, proving not only he is well skilled on Djing but also trains champions.

This all leads him to his “Asia Tour 2012” with MicStarr Vibe (2012 Asia’s No1. Contender Emcee / Malaysia’s No.1 Club Emcee 2010 – 2011). Booked by top clubs around Hong Kong, China & Taiwan performing and promoting the Malaysian music industry.

In 2012, DJ Chaoz has also achieved as the #No.1 DJ in Malaysia according to “The DJ List” http://thedjlist.com/. During performances, he preferred musical palate consists of 2 decks, a couple of CD players and outboard effects. It's typical to see him grabbing, twisting and manipulating clusters of knobs, buttons and faders with scratches, all precisely to the urban and commercial sounds. Not afraid to experiment, he risks humiliation before thousands.

Anthony Presti grew up in the suburbs of Seattle, inspired by an evolving  and engaging grunge scene. In his teenage years, he moved to Northern California and played in a rock band covering Nirvana songs until they started writing their own material. After several tours and albums, the band dismembered and Presti rediscovered his affinity for acoustic guitar. 

After a three month backpacking adventure in Europe, he returned with immense inspiration and moved to San Francisco. Presti’s music pays homage to all the different places he's lived or traveled and all the different musical scenes he's encountered. Presti teamed up with the talented Leah Van Dyke, lead vocalist of Brothers of Siren, and assembled a full band for his latest record Clarity in Hindsight. 

Anthony Presti has played countless shows as a duo, trio and full band including the Fillmore Poster Room, Lagunitas Brewery and the historic Hotel Utah. He takes pride on his unique songwriting, brilliant vocal harmonies and energetic and engaging live performances.

Biography
Originally from Long Island comes half comedian/half musician Jay Tea aka JT Turret. A well known face in the US punk scene as a member of the bands SPROUT and THE ARROGANT SONS OF BITCHES (A.S.O.B.). After the 2004 break-up of A.S.O.B. most of his band mates went on to form Bomb The Music Industry, but he struck out on his own to play one-man shows.

As a solo artist Jay Tea self-released the CD "Threw Away Your demo" in 2005. Honoring the title track, the CD was actually packaged in other artist's discarded demo CD cases that he accumulated during his time as a Talent Buyer, Radio DJ, and Major Label Intern.This was followed by a full-length genre-bending album of Ani DiFranco covers entitled "Loaded Cannon", released for free online in 2007. A CD called "Demo(n)", including 20 songs with Jay Tea playing every instrument, was sold on tour in 2008-09.

Jay Tea brought his act on the road as the ONLY solo artist on every date of the 10 week long VANS WARPED TOUR 2006, playing twice daily as a featured performer in DR.MADD VIBES MEDICINE CABINET. While on Warped he would often collaborate with the legendary Angelo Moore of Fishbone. He has also toured North America many other times as a band member, tour manager, and solo artist.

Jay Tea's solo shows include crowd participation, stand-up, impressions, choreographed dance and rap songs performed over thumping back-up tracks, and his own brand of edgy acoustic musical comedy. He will play any request for any song ever written (even if he hasn't heard it). His overly energetic stage show is nicely complimented by a 4 octave vocal range and an overwhelming amount of self-confidence. It is far from the typical singer-song writer show. FB Message J.T. I caught Jay Tea in Dr. Madd Vibes' Medicine Tent at the Warped Tour this summer, where he was performing as "the only band on Warped Tour that's not a band!" It was a really entertaining set, blending acoustic songs, stand-up comedy and general goofiness. I'm not often a fan of the jokester with the acoustic guitar type of musician, but Jay Tea isn't really typical of that, mainly due to his punk background. As a rule, I think the world needs fewer acoustic singer/songwriter/comedians in general, but it also needs many more punk ones.

SMALL KIDS BIG GUNS album review: A hard rock ensemble disguised as ska-punks, Long Island, NY-based quartet Sprout excels on Small Kids Big Guns via infectious, hook-laden pop songs and spirited performances evocative of Green Day, the Goo Goo Dolls, Blink 182, and the Living End. Guitar-driven and decidedly up-tempo, Sprout's energetic veneer centers on lead vocalist Jay Tea. Since releasing their debut EP 'Soundtrack Of Your Life' at the start of 2011, pop-punk boys Amberline have had an incredible couple of years. Who hasn’t indulged the childhood fantasy of playing in a band with your best friend and promising to stay together forever (and ever)? Only in the case of Kira Leyden and Jeff Andrea—co-leads of the Akron Ohio based The Strange Familiar—it’s a dream that came… and remained… true.

The pair met and played in their first band together as pre-teens at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Years later, they’ve graduated to the big leagues, amassing a musical transcript that includes over a dozen songs placed in popular TV shows, millions of YouTube views, writing “Invisible” a top 10 hit for Ashlee Simpson (“Invisible”) performing on national television with a successful run on “America’s Got Talent” and touring much of the U.S.

Lead vocalist & keyboardist Leyden and guitarist Andrea parlayed their musical partnership into a bond of matrimony. The couple recently had their first child, daughter Rayne. Alongside talented band-mates and fellow Ohio-bred musicians Nicholas Sainato on drums and Frank Freeman on bass, The Strange Familiar has certainly earned its namesake.

In 2008, they made their recorded debut with the indie EP release You Can't Go Back and followed up it up with two indie album releases This Is Gravity (2009) and Chasing Shadows in 2012. 
Their songs have been prominently featured on popular shows such as Pretty Little Liars, NBC’s The Biggest Loser and The Vampire Diaries, “Switched at Birth,” ABC’s “Brothers and Sisters,” Teen Nick’s “Degrassi” and LMN’s “The 19th Wife.” Their song “Courage" was used for the series premier of “Secret Life of an American Teenager” and became the un-official theme song by the show’s fans. With all this growing exposure, the band was nominated and won MTVu’s Freshman Challenge.

Signed to Krian Music Group, their new album The Day The Light Went Out, will be released April 2014.The first single  “Rain” is now available on iTunes

"Rain" started out as a lullaby for my daughter”, Kira explains, “Jeff and I are pretty old-fashioned, so we decided we weren't going to find out if our baby was a boy or girl before he or she was born. One thing we did know was that our baby would be named Rayne (or Raine for a boy). The first line of the song, "you are the heart that beats inside of me" came to mind because nothing was more amazing to me than hearing my baby's heartbeat for the first time at just 10 weeks. 

I hope "Rain" strikes a chord. It's about discovering there is something so much bigger than you, something worth fighting for that makes you braver, tougher, and more selfless than you've ever been, or ever thought you could be.

Describing their new album Jeff reflects, “This collection of songs is more personal and goes deeper than anything we’ve written before. It’s about the struggle of life – dealing with pain, loss, and despair. It’s a common thread that binds us together. 

The new disc’s 10 songs, produced by Jeff Sojka & Josh Zegan, offer a thematic triptych beginning with a relationship’s dissolution. Leyden explains, “It starts in a painful place and moves toward surrender and letting go, until you’ve become the person you want to be. By the end, you’ve learned to put your faith in somebody else’s hands.”. The album was mixed by Brian Malouf (Dave Matthews, Amy Grant, Jonas Bros)
With words and music primarily composed by Andrea, Leyden and Sainato, The Day The Light Went Out offers a sonic signature that conjures a mesh of Kate Bush and A Fine Frenzy, while Leyden’s versatile vocals range from a tender whisper to an ardent growl.

 “When I started playing guitar as a kid, rocking out in front of my mirror, I had a vision of filling stadiums and playing arenas,” Andrea says. “Over the years, that has whittled away to being able to simply devote my life to playing music. It’s the path we chose and we’re still having a blast.”

WHO IS JOELLE?
Have you ever traveled through time to see the future? Settled earth as an Alien life form? Stood on the surface of the moon? Joelle Doriani has- at least, in her songs.  Joelle is a jazz-influenced Electro Pop artist whose songs swing in subject matter from nervous lovers who just don’t have the courage to break the ice to alien life forms destroying the moon. Her composition skills and and love for all that is unique, quirky, and original give birth to musical concepts that are both interesting and accessible.

Currently, Joelle is a recording artist in Virginia Beach. Look out for other tracks and an album to be released in the near future! 


Just as the sound of Joelle’s music mixes the best of genre staples and her own originality, her lyricism mixes narrative that takes the listener to incredible places with real emotion that any person can relate to. All of us want to empathize and to be empathized with; feel what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes. What Joelle seeks to do with her music is just that- to move the listener to feel and to empathize, and have some fun at the same time!
