Die Reise auf dem Lebewohl-Fluss ist in vollem Gange. Es ist Zeit, Abschied zu nehmen.

Abschied von all dem Ballast, den man teils unbemerkt mit sich herumschleppte. All dem Schwelgen in der Vergangenheit, ob nun positiv oder negativ; von all den Sorgen um die Zukunft, ob nun beeinflussbar oder nicht, von all den Dingen, die einen vom Wesentlichen abhalten: dem Hier und Jetzt.
Das "Jetzt" ist einfach viel zu wunderbar, um sich davon ablenken zu lassen. Wenn man ständig im Jetzt lebt und präsent ist, merkt man erst die wundervollen Feinheiten die das Leben zu bieten hat.
Eigentlich ist es total leicht, all dieses Unsinnige loszulassen (daher ein kindliches Hauptthema), dennoch fällt man immer und immer wieder zurück. Doch wenn man es endlich schafft, achtsam und beobachtend durch das Leben zu gehen, dann erscheinen auch alltägliche, immer wiederkehrende Situationen in einem stets neuen Licht. Jeder kleine Moment wird zu einem Großen.

Ich wünsche Euch ein wundervolles neues Jahr mit unendlich vielen, wahnsinnig tollen Momenten :-)

One of the true pleasures of living in a northern country is the occasional feeling of the warmth of the winter sun on your face. There's a word for this --apricity. A brief burst of apricity warms both the body and the spirit.

Inspired by the final lines from the poem Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood by the English Romantic poet William Wordsworth (1770-1850)

"The Clouds that gather round the setting sun
