Erik Satié was one of the most accomplished French Impressionistic pianists and composers that ever existed. His timeless music simply challenges classification. His premiere Gymnopédie (previously the 3rd in the series) is among his most famous. The melody is so strangely familiar, like it was written in from a dream.
