After playing at the very first PAX event almost a year ago, Jephta has been a staple on our lineups ever since and we can´t get enough of his deep and hypnotic take on techno. Firmly embedded with the @Embodiment crew in Rotterdam as a resident DJ and organizer, Jephta has been able to grow surrounded by like minded people with a passion for club culture and electronic music. 

Developing a unique playstyle focussing on control, Jephta uses Native Instruments gear and Traktor to fuse the art of live performances with dj´ing. Creating new sounds on the spot by layering multiple tracks and loops, don't be surprised to hear your favorite track turned into something totally different when Jephta gets his hands on it!

Ecsatic Dance is a different party concept where people are encouraged to dance free of judgment (including self-judgment), without cell phones, without drugs (including alcohol) and without communicating verbally. And this brings a presence and joy to people's faces that no substance can.
I'm going to call this ANCESTRAL DANCE, because for me it’s always like a ritual. This set here is a mixture of many references, to tell a story of who I am.

For the next Far Blue concept, we have Kyiv based artist Vera Logdanidi who has put together her perception of Far Blue. Vera is a skilled producer, but also a beautiful storyteller with her sets. Someone who takes strong responsibility and initiative in the Ukranian underground electronic music scene with Rhythm Büro, which obviously faces big challenges during these difficult times. Traveling to international gigs isn't easy for her either:

"Since the nearest airport is 28 hours away from Kyiv, I have a lot of time for reflection and getting things done during my travels, often in trains or during stops. I recorded this mix in Budapest during a short layover. This mix isn’t about perfectionism, but rather about the mood, embracing the moment, and enjoying the journey. Let this music be the soundtrack to your days and the events they bring"

We feel honored an inspiring artist and person like Vera took the time to craft her interpretation of Far Blue for us, and we're excited to share it with you here.

Für eine Nacht begeben sich die Disco Boys mit ihren eingemotteten Plattenkoffern zurück in die Zeit ihrer Anfänge. Die Zeit als sie Mitte der 90er House mit Disco Grooves vermischten bis zu den Vorläufern der sogenannten Electronic Dance Music. Die Musik wird wieder Seele haben, Erinnerungen wach rufen und eine unverwechselbare Partynacht versprechen. Wer die Disco Boys schon damals erlebt hat, weiß wovon die Rede ist. Born in Italy, Claudio PRC is a dj/producer exploring techno and it’s experimental sides. He has signed several records with Prologue where his debut album "Inner State" was presented in 2012. Claudio is also a co-founder of The Gods Planet project and a label together with Ness.

"My ambitious goal is to compose music to make people move but also intellectually stimulate. I’ve learned that the track’s mixdown phase plays a key role in this sense, directing the way you want people listening to it and to considering the entire spectrum of feelings you can get from it". - During the years he developed his unique sound and technics into a defined style that is easy to recognize even in this mix.

Hypnotic, Droning and Atmospheric Dark Techno are the words to describe Bassiani Podcast's next episode coming from Italian hero. Avoiding 4/4 rhythmic structure at the beginning of the mix, Claudio PRC delievers an hour of unforgettable sonic experience. His special track selection and mixing skills get us into an amazing musical adventure, delevoping slowly and carefully until the end.
