Steve Tilston (who has written hundreds of songs since the 1970ies) retells the story of four of his songs from The Reckoning (2011) and Such Times (2021). There are musings on insomnia and the power of dawn to disperse demons in "This is the dawn". And the arduous mountain walks in Pennine Spring turn into a journey in time, a rigmarole, saying that "All of you who walk the chain must learn to love the wind and the rain". Ted Hughes poem Six Young Men plays a part in the recent song Satellites decree. But which is the well kept secret of the SatNav system for someone lost in diversions after doing his gigs?  What do the satellites decree? In the end music will strike the spark in "Little Flame", an invitation to dance, in the midst of tears, to a child and to anyone young at heart. The power of music to keep the flame alight, among the youngest...
